Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: Richard Bridge Date: 14 Dec 15 - 04:55 AM @Paul Burke - yes, some of Bellamy's stuff was tainted by colonialism and reverence for colonialists like Kipling, but his work with Young Tradition was splendid. I find his solo singing hard to listen to though. |

Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: GUEST,Guest from Sanity Date: 13 Dec 15 - 08:49 PM OK, Paul..maybe you want me to wink at you....maybe even blow ya' a kiss... Happy now?? GfS |
Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: Paul Burke Date: 13 Dec 15 - 05:36 PM What a total fart (or perhaps trump) is our Guest from Sanity, he obviously left Sanity some while ago. However, let's keep some music in all this. DID YOU KNOW that Peter Bellamy (revered (at lest by me) English folksinger of back when we were young for Shit from Idiocy) was the son of one of Oswald Moseley's lieutenants? Maybe our sane guest's children will turn out better. |
Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: GUEST,Guest from Sanity Date: 13 Dec 15 - 04:15 PM Musket: "Hi Goofus. It was pretty well hidden but your message was there. Watching you!!!!" Well pardon me, if I don't wink back..or blow you a kiss. GfS |
Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: olddude Date: 13 Dec 15 - 02:35 PM Rock banging is a good way to call in a Bigfoot. I saw it on tv so it must be true. Maybe Trump is a Bigfoot in descise. He has the hair and grunts. |
Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: GUEST,Musket Date: 13 Dec 15 - 12:40 PM I enjoy keeping an eye on the colonies. Keep banging the rocks together. Hi Goofus. It was pretty well hidden but your message was there. Watching you!!!! |

Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: Airymouse Date: 13 Dec 15 - 12:03 PM Report: ABC World News Tonight Has Devoted 81 Minutes To Trump, One Minute To Sanders Blog ››› December 11, 2015 9:40 AM EST ››› ERIC BOEHLERT Does that ratio seem out of whack? That's the ratio of TV airtime that ABC World News Tonight has devoted to Donald Trump's campaign (81 minutes) versus the amount of TV time World News Tonight has devoted to Bernie Sanders' campaign this year. And even that one minute for Sanders is misleading because the actual number is closer to 20 seconds. That's the rather stunning revelation from the Tyndall Report, which tracks the various flagship nightly news programs on NBC, CBS and ABC. The Report's campaign findings cover the network evening newscasts from January 1 through the end of November. |
Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: GUEST,Ebor Fiddler Date: 12 Dec 15 - 07:48 PM 1) Apropos of nothing at all really, but you might like to know that in my country, the UK, a "trump" is the almost polite word for "fart". 2) As well as the fact that there is a large petition up to prevent Trump landing on our shores, there is also the fact that the last right-wing politician to attempt to march down Cable Street was the antisemite Sir Oswald Moseley before the war,and his Black Shirts were soundly trounced by the Jewish inhabitants. We don't want him! Chris B. |
Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: GUEST,Guest from Sanity Date: 12 Dec 15 - 06:45 PM If you've noticed, there is an on going 'panic' with the Republican Party, allegedly concerned with Trump actually getting the nomination...so much that there is talk of it going into a 'negotiated brokered convention'....Now, if you remember, and weren't too busy, chanting left wing talking points, I told you that, it was the 'global corporate oligarchy' that had control of BOTH parties, and that the 'delegate super pacts that would decide who would run against who...NOT the actual voters!!....So, with that in mind, the 'global corporate oligarchy' would rather have their usual lackey poster children be their front-man....which to them is either a Bush or a Clinton..it doesn't matter, it's all the same, to them. If you also remember, Obama was made a 'celebrity' who ran with no track record, experience, and/or voting record to speak of...but was elevated to the 'left wing' superstar celebrity status...and the same tactic has been used to elevate Trump to the same thing. Whether it is Trump that has done it on his own, or the product of backroom deals is somewhat ambiguous, and I'm sure a well hidden secret. One thing, for sure, is that Trump has personified himself as 'a negotiator'...'political speak' for a 'salesman'....so the 'left' is freaking out now, like the right was freaking out, when Obama was elevated...and what did we get??...another salesman...an insurance salesman!!! The real question to ask yourselves, of either of these guys, is, 'Would you buy a used car from either of them??' While the 'right' is rationalizing Trump's candidacy away, the 'left' is still making up excuses to rationalize away Obama's repeatedly misleading statements. Left wing and right wings are on the same bird....as I've said over and over....and I've been correct. A real scary thought, that our choices that will be GIVEN to us, not by actual votes of the electorate, not for true representation of a real democracy, will of the people...would be Hillary vs Trump!!....what a farce!!....This is the 'best' people that we have???????????? Happy conditioning!!...Have another plate of indoctrination!! GfS |

Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: Donuel Date: 10 Dec 15 - 07:41 AM Netanyahu just canceled on Trump. |
Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: Donuel Date: 10 Dec 15 - 06:50 AM I offered this perspective as an alternative to the obvious fascist tactics of Trumpism. Trump is on his way to meet with Netanyahu. His European Tour should be interesting when he joins with Maureen LePen and Max Morley in a parade through the Arc d'Triumph followed by a parade down Cable St in East London. |

Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: GUEST,.ga Date: 09 Dec 15 - 09:25 PM A professor of rhetoric, and media promotion discussed politics this week with me. The prosser's view is extream left...and mine extream right. But, we agree on Mr. T's uncanny ability to "excite a 15 second" sound bite and then, the next day, receive a three minute explanation of "what he did not say." He also commented that HC's greatest weight is awkward, painful, on stage performance...and keeping Bill out of the screen shots. Sincerely Surely there MUST be a dark horse somewhere |

Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: Bill D Date: 09 Dec 15 - 04:31 PM Her feeling... one that *I* expressed months ago... is that he never really expected to get this far, and doesn't 'really' want the detail and limitations and responsibility that come with actually having to get up every morning and BE president. Running as an independent is one almost sure way to NOT be elected... but to keep getting noticed. Hard to read the motives buried in that strange mind. |
Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: Donuel Date: 09 Dec 15 - 04:07 PM Rachel Maddow has a thesis that Trump has a master plan to intentionally split the republican vote. This opinion is apparently not shred by anyone else who knows the Trump ego up close. is there a memo I was not sent? |
Subject: RE: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: Donuel Date: 09 Dec 15 - 10:35 AM In yet another ironic twist, all of the efforts of republicans to eliminate millions of voters either by reducing polling places or issuing special ID cards, might effect the new reality show voters. Or in the case of a third party split vote the republicans may have their worst showing ever. |
Subject: BS: Thru the eyes of reality show America From: Donuel Date: 09 Dec 15 - 10:14 AM We probably all know the format of reality shows where people shout argue scheme and eliminate other contestants. It has come to the Republican party just as Fox has used the out shouting reality show format to make "good TV" out of formerly boring news shows. Of course facts are never the issue but up staging or shutting out an opponent counts as wining the news segment. Who better to lead the reality show presidential campaign than a reality show star Donald J Trump. In the game of out shouting, out scandalize and eliminating opponents as easy as firing them, Trump will beat anyone who tries to hit him in the reality game show framework. It just so happens that the national audience to this reality show are arguably the same 2/3 of the people who normally never vote. To hell with issues, in reality show America its all about feelings and fear is a powerful feeling. The key to defeat the glaring fascist aspects of Trumpism and scape goating also lies within the theatre of the reality show. We can not soley rely upon the lofty goals of the intelligentsia to make the best choice for America. We have to make Trump enter the traditional race for the Presidency as well as send him home and deprive him of becoming the last survivor. IGNORING HIM is a fine strategy for now but there will come a time when that would be clearly foolish in light of the fact that so many foolish reality show patriots are waiting to vote for perhaps the first time in years. So put yourself in the shoes of reality show AMERICANS. What would ever make you want to vote TRUMP OUT? Nothing so far. |
