Mudcatters et al! I've just received from Johnny Collins a copy of his new cd, Now and Then. It's grand. Johnny is in wonderful voice and the unaccompanied singing (for the most part)and choruses take me back to my recent visit to Herga with Micca, where we sang some of these songs with Johnny. If you don't know, Johnny Collins is a native of the county of Norfolk, but is now based in London, England, and specializes in the singing of shanties, sea songs and maritime ballads, but his new cd goes beyond the maritime. It's lovely. His voice has never been better and the songs are just right. My favorite is "Too Far From She", but I like them all. For information or to obtain a copy of this and other cds go to: http://ds.dial.pipex.com/alan.j.hardy/JohnnyCollins/discography.htm

Cheers, Chance Shiver
