Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Colomba's Hymn in Gaelic From: Burke Date: 03 May 01 - 11:48 AM The hymn Spaw linked to has a traditional tune called St. Columba, words by someone else. Cyberhymnal does have a hymn by St. Columba O God, Thou art the Father Is this the English version of the hymn people have mentioned? |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Colomba's Hymn in Gaelic From: George Seto - af221@chebucto.ns.ca Date: 02 May 01 - 10:18 PM Laoidh Chalum Chille is in a book of hymns called Seinnidh Dhan Tighearna. I can't find my copy right now. I think I loaned it to someone, but can't remember who has it. The book is in print,so it may be available in a library, or through the Gaelic Books Council. It's a Scottish Gaelic song. |
