heloo, i pressed the wrong thing, thats why no mesage last time.
anyway=I heard before that they said that anyone burgaling for the first time won't get in trouble, just get a warning.

This goverment is shit, no wonder there is so much crime, they not tough enough, anyway=police should carry guns, and anyone making trubble should be shot, like in america.

england is only place were police got no guns, [they only got little stick to hit people with], if they start shooting bad people [shoplifters, burglars, drugs dealers etc] then trouble will stop.

they have to get tough soon, or crime will just get worse.

In Hull town centre on nightime there is always loads of fighting, and smashing stuff up, [there is a few empty shops here, but the kids in baseball hats smashed them up, broke the windows etc].

I heard that in Thailand if you smash public property up, the police hit you with a big stick, they dont get much vandalism, thats why, they should do it here, but all the hippies would complain about human rights etc.

And they hang drug dealers as well, should do it here.

In Soudi Arabia, they cut the heads off shoplifters, serves them right.

Time to get tough, if i was in charge, i would sort the crime out.

And anyone who wears a baseball cap and actually plays baseball deserves our sympathy.

The Uk is also trying to bring in 'part time' and ' weekend only' prison sentences. The premise being the prisoners will be removed from society at the times that they usually commit their crimes, and still able to hold down a job and maintain a family life. I would have thought that commiting a crime punishable by imprisonment forfeits their rights to a job and family?

I know that some say we don't have the room to keep building prisons and the costs to maintain them are eating up budgets that could be used elsewhere....but, and I know there will be an obvious answer why this won't work maybe, but I can't think of it right now....why aren't they just put on an uninhabited island somewhere in the middle of nowhere, too far to escape from on a bag of coconut husks?
It could be staffed by those seeking that sort of location and helicopters could drop in supplies. It would be cheap.

And here's a little example from NZ: A murderer, serving a life sentence, is such an uncontrollable twat that he has spent a great deal of time in solitary confinement, and has suffered restraint from prison officers. A judge has now ruled that that is cruel to the poor arsehole, and has awarded him $35000 (UKL 12000, US$ 17000). Naturally, all the other chummies have put their claims in.
The government says it has no control over the judiciary, but is appealing the award.
Guess who is footing the legal costs.

Problem with back to front caps. Is this just a normal cap worn the wrong way round, or is it a specially made cap which is worn in the normal manner but incorporates advanced millinery techniques (developed from the space programme) that makes it look as if it is being worn backwards? This is more important than it may seem as confusion could mean someone who is shot in the front should have been shot in the back and vice versa.

Still, who gives a flying f**k anyway.

Having never nicked a thing in my life, I think all thiefs should be shot! The wearing of baseball caps would also receive a mandatory life sentence, unless you are a Yank who actually plays Baseball.

"Anyone defaulting on there council tax, or not having a telly licence will now get 100 years in jail [without parole]."

Is that a black and white or a colour telly jOhn?

Like everything else jOhn, the law in this country is being watered down and people are getting away with things that they would have been in Court for 30yrs ago. "Two on a bike"...."Riding a bike on the kerb"..."swearing on the street"..."Burglary" because the Police no longer waste time on things they can't prove.....but what seems really stupid to me is that they spend so much time and effort trying to catch people for "speeding" in their vehicles........
Ah well, who am I to complain?
Best wishes.

I remember Tony Blur saying he would be "Tough on Crime, and Tough on the causes of crime".
A few days ago it was announced that shoplifers will not be prosecuted [as long as they only steal up to £200 worth of stuff at a time] if they admit the offence, and pay a small fine, they will not have to bother going to court, and they will not get a criminal record.
I don't really understand this!
Surely stealing from shops is a crime, and should be treated as such?

Maybe I'm been cynical, but perhaps it's so they can say that Crime Figures have gone right down under Labour?

Also announced =Life now means 7 years ie Convicted Murderers will only need to serve 7 years in jail [as long as they say sorry, and promise not to do it again], note , this 7 years tarrif is before remission, so if they behave whilst in jail, ie don't kill anyone else whilst inside, they could be out in 3 and half years.

Anyone defaulting on there council tax, or not having a telly licence will now get 100 years in jail [without parole].
