Subject: RE: BS: USA - International Terrorist!!! From: Teribus Date: 12 Nov 05 - 08:44 AM Little Hawk - PM Date: 09 Nov 05 - 12:28 PM When Great Bitain was in Iraq in the 20's they put down a rebellion by Iraqis against British colonial occupation (done mostly for the oil). RAF warplanes slaughtered thousands and thousands of Iraqis, machine-gunning and bombing villages and people riding around on camels and horses. Barely a single British life was lost. That was terrorism on a massive basis. The same sort of thing happens now. Little Hawk - PM Date: 09 Nov 05 - 03:08 PM The British colonial effort in Iraq before WWII also failed, despite the fact that the British could kill at least 100 Iraqis for every British soldier lost. Clear illustration of how poor a reader of history you are Little Hawk. Make up your mind according to your statements above the British either killed thousands and thousands of Iraqi's in the twenties in which case hundreds and hundreds of British lives were lost, or the British didn't kill any Iraqis. Certainly some were killed in the various uprisings but nowhere near thousands and thousands, thats crap. If you disagree put up some references to back up your statements. Bomber Harris's memoirs cover this period of British History rather well at it certainly does not tally with what you are suggesting. Another point you mention that is also complete and utter rubbish is reference to Iraq being under "British colonial occupation", just as the current presence of MNF in Iraq today is sanctioned by the UN, the British presence in Iraq during the 1920's was at the request of, and sanctioned by, the League of Nations. |

Subject: RE: BS: USA - International Terrorist!!! From: The Fooles Troupe Date: 10 Nov 05 - 06:34 PM Ad hominen attacks on me by a GUEST are almost always likely to just get them back in response. After all they are only a GUEST, and I can't tell them apart, since they can post under ANY GUEST id they want at any particular time. If you are dingo enough to anonymously contribute to a public discussion by means of ad hominen attacks, then that is obviously the way you wish to be treated, and I won't bother to respect you as a human being. I do try to be a nice guy, but if someone thinks they can hide behind anonymity and make nasty attacks on me, then they don't know that I am prepared to wait until someone who gloats over being nasty to me dies, so I can dig the bastard up and piss on him! |

Subject: RE: BS: USA - International Terrorist!!! From: GUEST,A Date: 10 Nov 05 - 11:04 AM Come on, a little sense of humor here. okay? I don't require the bolstering as demostrated when I ignored Foolestroupe and his (A is for A******). To me, that meant he did not have an intellectual reply available. Speaking of "raging and insecure little ego", are you not attempting the same type of diagnosis as Senator Frist did with Terry Schiavo? In your case, without the video tape. Always had the policy of checking the ego at the door. |

That is how the ego bolsters its own precarious sense of identity, after all. |

Subject: RE: BS: USA - International Terrorist!!! From: Bobert Date: 09 Nov 05 - 10:10 PM Yeah, the War on Terrorism should start on an all out assualt on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.... That is the source of 90% of it... The rest, includin bin Laden', is small potatoes... Thin about it... Bin laden killed 3,000... Bush has killed over 100,000 with no end in sight... And most of these folks were jus' regular folks, old folks, moms and kids... You do the math... George Bush should be tried and convicted as a war criminal... He has not only invaded Iraq fir no good reason but he continues to order the torture of Iraq'a that the US military has rounded up... This ain't the American way... This is what Hitler did... Don't like the continued comparision of Bush and Hitler... Quit supportin' Bush.... OPure and simple.... You are either part of the problem or part of the solution... Asd far as I'm concerned if you support Bush, you are a terrorist!!! Go ask some Iragi kid who witnessed his mom gettin' blown the heck up by the US military.... Go ask the mom who watched her kid get blown up.... This ain't even worth discussin' here... The Bush administration is outta control.... Yeah, they thought it would be a nice little political trick to hold power in the '04 election but it's now stinkin' up the world.... Bobert |

Subject: RE: BS: USA - International Terrorist!!! From: The Fooles Troupe Date: 09 Nov 05 - 07:35 PM You have said most of my thoughts on the matter Little Hawk. You omitted to add that one of the biggest opponents the USA may yet have may be 'Gaia' - the earth itself - as natural disasters will cost the USA big time. War is a battle of economic attrition. Bit hard to fight back against hurricanes, tornadoes, and other ecological disasters. The biggest driver in any war is always the rich guys, who manage to make profit from both sides. The 'USA big boys of business' will just move on to the next place to make riches: they are already moving into China. |

Subject: RE: BS: USA - International Terrorist!!! From: Little Hawk Date: 09 Nov 05 - 03:08 PM I'll agree to that... ;-) On the other hand, when Pancho has more guns than Cisco, Pancho don' care what Cisco thinks! What Cisco must then do is round up enough other people who are also mad at Pancho and willing to do something about it. A posse. Presently Pancho finds out that he doesn't have quite enough guns to deal with the situation that his bad attitude has created. That's what happened to Adolf Hitler, back around late '41. There is a point where one's own propensity to international terrorism can get one into a whole lot of trouble. Given the fact that the USA is already so tied down in Iraq and Afghanistan that their military is becoming badly strained, their position is becoming rather vulnerable in the strategic sense and in the financial sense. Those factors will, I think, lead to the eventual failure of their aggressive foreign policy...as happened in Vietnam. It'll be a different course of events in many ways, but this so-called "War on Terrorism", like the "War on Drugs" or the "War on Poverty" will prove to be a failure. The British colonial effort in Iraq before WWII also failed, despite the fact that the British could kill at least 100 Iraqis for every British soldier lost. The Americans lost 57,000 men in return for about 3 million dead Asians. In the end, it's usually the locals who win, not the foreign invaders...unless what is occuring is not mere colonialism...but massive immigration into new lands (as occurred over a 400 year period when the Europeans took over North America and destroyed the Native American societies in so doing). Well, I don't think 20 or 30 million Americans are going to emigrate to Iraq and Afghanistan. LOL! Not going to happen. Accordingly, the American military occupation of those lands will fail. I expect it will fail within 5 years or less. |

Subject: RE: BS: USA - International Terrorist!!! From: Little Hawk Date: 09 Nov 05 - 12:28 PM Well, all aggressive military powers commit terrorism, and the biggest ones do it on the biggest scale. The USA just happens to be the biggest one right now, so they get the most attention. This is normal. It's not nice, but it's normal. When Great Bitain was in Iraq in the 20's they put down a rebellion by Iraqis against British colonial occupation (done mostly for the oil). RAF warplanes slaughtered thousands and thousands of Iraqis, machine-gunning and bombing villages and people riding around on camels and horses. Barely a single British life was lost. That was terrorism on a massive basis. The same sort of thing happens now. If China becomes the next great power...and they probably will...then the mantle of leading world terrorist will pass to them, and God knows what they will do. What they did in Tibet was not nice at all. As for Stalin, he committed mass terrorism on his OWN citizens, killing about 20 million, I think it was. "Terrorists" like the Arabs and Palestinians who blow themselves up with car bombs and stuff like that are the bit players in this arena of destructive activity. They have the will, but not the funds or equipment, to match the terrorism accomplished by great powers. The USA's foremost exercise in terrorism may have been the Vietnam War, because it resulted in the death of about 3 million Vietnamese, plus a whole lot of Cambodians and some other people in the region, and it led to the rise of the Khymer Rouge who killed half the people in Cambodia. Now THAT's terrorism. All aggressive military powers are guilty of it. Governments are the biggest terrorists by far. The USA just happens to have the most firepower and the will to use it at the moment. That is why a lot of people in the World are upset with the USA. It is not particularly a judgement upon ordinary Americans, just on their government's policies. Ordinary Americans don't control their government, they just vote for 2 phony political parties who then control it FOR them, and there's nothing they can really do about it, short of armed revolution and a complete overthrow of the $ySStem, and that's not going to happen. Things aren't bad enough yet in hometown America for that to happen. |

While we (USA) certainly have our share of faults, there is so much false (think madeup) or exaggerated reporting (think CIA outing) going on that I find no reason to get exicited or even concerned until time has past and all the facts come out. Are you into Islam and want to cover up the atrocities of your brethern presently occuring in most parts of the World? Susan, some are to be pitied more than censored.
