Elektra Master Discography - Collectors' Choice Music and some others are gradually releasing some of the collection of folk music Jac Holzman released on the Elektra label. Take a look at all the wonderful stuff that is yet to be reissued.

Here's some Peace sent me:

• Slave Songs of the United States (William Francis Allen, 1867) - the whole book online, from the University of North Carolina
• MacEdward Leach and the Songs of Atlantic Canada - a large collection of sound recrodings and lyrics
• So far, I've seen no state do more to promote its folklore than Florida - Click here to get an idea what they do. The Florida Folk Festival and Music from the Florida Folklife Collection are two great examples, as are these activities of the Florida Memory Project.
• Well, my home state of Wisconsin has a nice online collection of folk music: Wisconsin Folksong Collection
• Halcyon Days Music - lyrics and MIDIs from songs of the late 19th and early 20th centuries
• American Memory Collection (Music), Library of Congress
• Old-time (Oldtimey) Music-Tune & Songbook
