Hello, I'm voting electronicly for the candidate of my choice because I'm as naive as they think I am. Hello, I'm from Misssouri, the show me state, but since; our war policy is secret, all the money and weapons spent in Iraq is secret and actual election results are secret...I'm sitting this one out. Ad for any wireless phone company: (Picture of outhouse) Remember when you had to go outside? (picture of a modern bathroom) Now we can go inside in the warm comfort of our home. (Picure of old fashioned crank wall phone) Remember when you could call inside from the comfort of your home? (video of people standing in their front yard and in front of buildings) Now you can call from the great outdoors! ens with: (video of dozens of people outside saying "Can you hear me now?") |

Subject: RE: BS: Favourite Political ads From: katlaughing Date: 03 Nov 06 - 12:24 AM Amos, that is disgusting that that kind of thing is still happening. What the hell is this country about, anyway. How sickening. I guess I shouldn't be so surprised. The incumbent senator in WY, Barbara Cubin, a yes-woman for Bush, told the Libertarian opponent who is in a wheelchair with MS, that she would slap him if he wasn't in the wheelchair. She was upset at him for questioning her acceptance of funds from Delay and Abramoff. Some group did a political ad about it, HERE, which both the Dems and GOP are denouncing. It doesn't help the Dem at all, but for once in WY, it looks as though the Dem will win. Cubin is the same one who baked penis shaped cookies for the state legislature and also took crotch shots of all the male reps, then posted them on a bulletin board in the state congress for the women to try to match up the shots to their male members (sorry for the pun.) I hope to hell she loses. |

Subject: RE: BS: Favourite Political ads From: Donuel Date: 01 Nov 06 - 07:01 PM I once did a picture of 12 different George W's kissing babies in the same crowd. In the foreground is an actual picture of Adolf Hitler doing the same. Paul Burke : spell "air raid" backwards. |

Subject: RE: BS: Favourite Political ads From: GUEST,pattyClink Date: 01 Nov 06 - 01:58 PM I LOVE the AARP ads that say "Don't vote" (unless you do some research). Especially the one that satirizes the gladhanding babykissing goodlooking zero. Maybe if these 'faces' become a laughingstock people will get the point. God knows rational persuasion doesn't work. |

Subject: RE: BS: Favourite Political ads From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 31 Oct 06 - 01:06 PM All political ads on TV or radio are illegal here, luckily. Sometime they stick American TV Political ads on the TV here as bizarre news items, or comic relief. And I've been looking at some of the ones on YouTube. Good grief. But I quite like some of the Internet ones Kinky Friedman, running for Governor of Texas, has on his campaign site |

Subject: BS: Favourite Political ads From: Donuel Date: 31 Oct 06 - 11:48 AM Ok, so what if they are all bad. Some are worse than others and alone can make them a favorite. "Harold, call me" "Hey girfriend, didnt you know that the KKK was Democrat and that Martin Luther King was Republican?" my worst offerings: "My opponent has painted himself into a corner" ( image of a straw man with a Pinnochio nose who is holding a red herring in one hand and a paint brush in the other ) Obscured man in dark silloquette: "Yeah I served in Viet Nam with now Senator Suckman. He used to collect the ears of all the children he killed" paid for by the citizens against lieing sacks of shit. "not only is my opponent for cloning stem cells , he is personally respondsible for flushing trillions of gamete cells down the drain of our public water system. |
