back in 93 she could have been seen and heard busking in St Albans with Colston Mac who played hammered dulcimer, they went down very well

I last saw hr doing that in her hometown of Bath

Hi Ross, I'm always better on Fridays cos we finish at lunch time. I'm having a new mattress delivered today one of those new memory foam jobs. The latest thing, so I'm told, so I wont be doing much at all this weekend. Oh and I've got a bottle of champagne on my desk, which wont be on my desk for long !!

Are you measuring bricks today? Looks like a good day for measuring bricks. They'll need lots down your way after that tornado, get yer tape out Ross, you could make a killing !!

It's very damp in Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire this morning

Last Friday was a non brick measuring day - as is today

I might go to Redburn one night before Christmas - not sure yet which one

Letchworth & Baldock have an Australian duo on this Wednesday at the Orange Tree - 13th

Barton is TUESDAy this week - the 12th

Torrential here all night and this morning, our village is flooded so we all swam to work, because we're loyal and hard working - yeh right.

I saw Sports personality, caught the clip of Breeze junior, glad Phillips won, my friend met her at an event, said she was very friendly and approachable, no high security rubbish. And she makes a fuss of her horses so she's ok in my book.
She's advertising Land Rovers to fund her riding the photo on the ad is brill.

Champagne is still unopened, but it may go pop later this week.

I'd agree - Zara's efforts this year were quite outstanding - although money/parents and the horse helped a bit

The competetion was a bit lame - Tweddle's efforts were incredible considering where we used to be in gymnastics

A year ago we blew up here in Reddders when Buncefield exploded

I went out to look at estimates on a fire escape ramp for at a school and a bathroom refurbishment today

The latter was an employee of Jimmy Jewel the diamond mogul and a neighbour of Stanley Kubrick on the Chidwickbury estate near St Albans

Horsie do was brill, even the old man managed to stay awake! the highlight of the evening was the lady on the next table who was wearing an almost fluorescent pink dress, one of those skin-tight,strapless, boned jobs, the thing was she must have been 16 stone with at least a 40'' bust! My mate Jo was heard to remark 'b'jeezus can yas imagine the size of the bloody hoss'! But she was enjoying herself, so who cares.

It was a great night at Baldock last night - sorry you all went down with the dreaded lurgi (ooerr! hope I haven't caught it from you lot on Tuesday - I seem to be suffering from tiredness, headaches and dehydration, and an empty wallet this morning - are those the symptoms? ;-))

Mundy-Turner were really good - I was going to buy their latest CD but they sold out too quickly! But Jay said he would send me one today, and not charge for the postage.

George did Mabel's song (Without You On Christmas Day) and Empty Handed - brilliant as always. Hobbsy did a couple and Robin Harper did the support slot (the regulars were given a night off from me!)

I forgot to say yesterday - I was walking around a very disfunctional farmhouse yesterday estimating repairs to damage done by the Buncefield explosion - the occupants bedroom hasn't had a ceiling for a year

Have they really only just got round to repairs after the Buncefield thingamy. Wots a disfunctional farmhouse, is it a farmhouse that just cant cope, or has personality disorders does it want to be a flat or a bungalow. Was it abandoned by its garden shed when it was just a plot?

Of course you can borrow a horse Cathie, which one would you like, the fat one, the hairy one, the tall skinny snooty one, the muddy one, the little one who bites your legs, my sons pony that kicks anything it can reach usually my husband, the quick one, the plodder - or my mate Red who shags anything that moves (or that doesnt move quick enough that is)? Who said they dont have characters.

Ross have you measured that box will it be big enough? Jockeys are any height you like as long as they've enough velcro on their bottoms.
