So now we have 28 that I know of, plus some locals will appear on an ad hoc basis.

Llanfair + Monty
LtS + Manitas + Limpit
MeganL + Dauvitt
Skarpi + Gunna + Daughter Helga, Rosa, and her husband Helgi.
Jim Lad + Brenda
Lady P
Weerover [possible]
Murray MacLeod + Fine Singer
Jack Campin + Marion
Doug Chadwick
Effsee
Catherine Jayne + Paul + Sprog [on west coast ;)]
Lurking Catter + Kitten
Sabine

Any additions or subtractions?

Giok

I'm afraid you'll have to add Jack to that list... Rehab will be finished by then and he'll need to be watched carefully.

And now there's a posting for every day of the year.

Jack is presently drying out. It's amazing the difference a bottle of fabric softener and a tumbledryer will make!

A friend of mine is hoping to come, too. She's been in touch with Graham, and she's first reserve if anyone drops out, accommodation-wise.

I'll be travelling overnight on the train from Crewe to inverness, then getting the connection to Invershin, arriving lunchtime Friday. Anyone else on that train?

You know, I keep looking at the time table posted on their web site and as far as I can figure, there only appears to be one train a day at about 5.30pm.

I know I'm a bear of small brain, but surely that can't be right?

According to "thetrainline.com", the 10:39 train from Inverness should get to Invershin at 12:10.
The 17:53 train arrives at 19:22. I'll be on the later train.

Marion & I can't make it (blown too much of our holiday budget on attending a funeral). Next year, I hope.

It's the 10-39 we're getting. It's a 2 hour wait at Inverness, but lots of time for Monty to stretch his legs, and mine!!

D'you think it might be an idea to start a Scottish Mudgather Two, this one's getting a bit long.

I think Audrey wants to be around the hotel, and Monty and me. She doesn't get out much!!!

hi folks,

just had a look at the hostel page again and was also looking at that hill to climb up after the session....

is there no other possibility of accommodation in that area as the hotel (fully booked) and the hostel (no, i refuse to mountain-climbing after several pints...).

we could put up a tent but i must admit... i am not too keen to do this as well...

any ideas?

cheers

sabine
