Turns out he was back between the wall and the sofa...just like the old potato chips...a bit dusty and disheveled, but still not spoiled.

So now he is definitely found, he has been recovered, no question about it whatsoever. His whereabouts are now crystal clear. His location is known. His coordinates are in the log book. He is no longer lost. This means we can put that other fecking thread to rest, okay?

If so, I must remind you that the public embarrassment...or may I even say consternation...that is being caused daily by your dogged insistence on clinging to outdated methods of dress, coiffure, dialogue, and general personal deportment is creating distress throughout the entire municipality you live in, and it is time for a change! For God's sake, get a lifestyle coach and put matters right.

That was an unfortunate choice of words, wasn't it?

I too have been puzzled for years by the penchant of many British men for wandering casually into the den, the front hallway, the kitchen, the front sidewalk, or the local smoke shop around the corner from their residence, dressed only in a pair of tatty old briefs. They seem to feel that it's quite normal to do that if one is off work at the time and merely engaged in running a brief errand...not planning to stay long, in other words. They can't see the point of throwing a bunch of outer clothing on if one is not actually formally "visiting" someone or intending to stay for more than a minute or two, as it just uses up valuable time and energy to do so, and what would be the point of it all, really?

Personally, I find it very offensive to be referred to as 'the wife', as if I were the table, the chair, the bit of mud on the carpet... The only time I heard Manitas introduce me as 'the wife' it earned him a slap upside the head. I didn't introduce him as 'the old man' so I should be afforded the same respect.

I know I refer to Limpit as 'the child' but I never introduce her that way. Besides, she likes it. She's weird.
