Subject: Review: The George W. Bush Thread. From: GUEST,Peter Woodruff Date: 11 Apr 05 - 05:11 PM Here it is the thread we have all been waiting for, However been afraid to respond to. Can you possibly think of anything you would like to say to George W at this late date in his last catastrophic term of office. We will weigh all thoughtful responses with a grain of mercury. Peter |
Subject: RE: Review: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Once Famous Date: 11 Apr 05 - 05:13 PM This has been moronically posted in the music threads by someone who is still just sour grapes still from last November. How completely unoriginal. |

Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Ebbie Date: 11 Apr 05 - 05:28 PM I was just wondering whether the bush is what one would call a terrorist or is he more an insurgent? You know, where one rises up against the people. |

Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Peace Date: 11 Apr 05 - 06:15 PM Dear President Bush, I believed you were doing the right thing by invading Iraq. Now, I think you did wrong. I wonder what there can be in a man that he would want to leave the world in worse shape than he found it? I listened to your speeches on TV and read some on the internet. You are not the greatest orator, but I would gladly overlook that if your words were kind and your intentions clear and peaceful. I fail to understand why you have chosen to surround yourself with people whom I consider to be dangerous. It makes the world insecure for future generations. I don't understand either why you are trying to destroy one of the greatest documents in world history; namely, The Constitution. I don't understand why you don't care that so many Americans are poor. I don't understand why old people cannot be cared for properly by your country. Under your leadership they could be. You could make the United States respected around the world, not feared. Yet you seem not to be doing any of these things. Who can people look up to if not their leader? And why does half your country's citizens have trouble looking up to you? I don't understand. Maybe you don't either. I don't wish you any ill, but I hope you and the crew you are listening to have a very serious change of heart. I think you won't, but I will pray you do. Bruce Murdoch |

Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Once Famous Date: 12 Apr 05 - 06:07 PM Uh, George could give a shit and is not reading this. Isn't there something else you can do? |
Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Don(Wyziwyg)T Date: 12 Apr 05 - 08:07 PM Lots of things I can do Martin, without overloading to the point where I can't spot a lying warmonger. Still, when George's couldn't give a shit hits the fan, I'll be out of range, and it's the American people who'll be covered in it. Don T. |
Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Little Hawk Date: 12 Apr 05 - 08:24 PM No, Martin, what you mean is, he couldn't give a shit. I know this, because I grew up in an era when a fair number of people still knew enough not to say "lay down" when they actually meant "lie down". ;-) I would say to him, "George, that must have been pretty cool running that baseball team back in Texas. I bet you had a lot of fun then. You must miss those days, eh?" |
Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: GUEST Date: 12 Apr 05 - 08:31 PM I would like to ask him if he knew he looked like Norman Wisdom. Then chain him up naked and put a couple of snarling dogs in his face. Whilst smearing him in menstrual blood. I would then like to ask him if I can capture this moment on my kodak instamatic, just for the folks back home you understand. |
Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Little Hawk Date: 12 Apr 05 - 08:36 PM Heh! Well, yes, that would be different, wouldn't it? You never know, he may have been into stuff like that back in the university days. I hear they did some pretty weird stuff behind closed doors. Skull and Bones, you know... |
Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Bobert Date: 12 Apr 05 - 09:04 PM Yo Goerge, first of all "you suck so fu*k off"... Second, hope the next pretzel takes you down... Third, you are a liar... Forth, you are no follower of Christ, but an insecure little autocrat who happened to be born into wealth... Fifth, you will not being sharing any quarters in Heaven with me 'cause you are going the way of yer hero, Adolf... Sixth, you know what you are underneath yer crap and that's the best part about this... Seventh, sorry to hurt yer head with big humbers like "7th"... Eighth, you are a crook. You stole money from the empolyees at Harkin Energy with yer little Ken Lay thing that you continue to get away with because you have so much power that the courts can't touch you... Ninth, how does it feel knowing that should America survive your administration intact, which is doubtfull, that historians will rank you as the worst president ever... and Tenth, where's Ken Starr when we need him the most??? Bobert |
Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Little Hawk Date: 12 Apr 05 - 09:19 PM Now, Bobert...judge not, lest ye shall be judged. ;-) Disagree with the man's actions by all means, but have caution about denigrating the man. Most people, George Bush included, do what they think is right at the time from their own perspective, and they all have their own very good reasons for it. They may be crazy in your terms or mine, but they do feel justified in their decisions and actions. Fear produces aggression. Extreme fear produces extreme aggression. Hitler, for example, was tremendously fearful of Jews, Commmunists, and anyone he regarded as a threat to "Germany and Western Civilization" (as he saw it). He was in extreme fear largely because of his own youthful experiences in and after WWI, which he blamed on certain symbolic enemies he made up in his own mind. He BELIEVED those enemies were absolutely real. They weren't. His real enemy was his own fear and desire to protect himself against mythical "forces of evil" that he conjured up out of his own fear. Concentrate on what you love, not what you hate. Hatred is not a useful emotion with which to fuel one's purposes in life. (And yeah, I'm still learning that too...bit by bit.) |

Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Bobert Date: 12 Apr 05 - 09:59 PM Hey, LH, though it may sound as if I hate George Bush, I don't... I just disagree with him and feel sorry for him with his personality disorders... Unfortunately, the world shouldn't have to suffer along with him... And don't know how that echo happened... Bobert |
Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: GUEST,Peter Woodruff Date: 13 Apr 05 - 08:16 PM Oh Well! Most of you are pretty drunk but you are right, no I mean you are left. You need to do more activism online! George is a big mellon out there for you to squeeze. Peter |
Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: dianavan Date: 14 Apr 05 - 01:11 AM Yeah, he was born into wealth but even that couldn't get him elected. He had to be tutored by Billy Graham to make him palatable for the masses. None of that would be so bad if it weren't for the fact that he has no conscience. I have come to believe that he not only lies to us but to himself. What is hard to understand is how so many Americans believe him. My daddy warned me that it would be the marriage of business and politics that would destroy the U.S.A. I didn't see how it was possible but I certainly see it now. I don't hate Bush either but I do consider him Public Enemy #1. |
Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Bobert Date: 14 Apr 05 - 07:35 AM Well, your daddy was right, d... But this is nothin' new... Hitler knew that he would need the industrialists in order to centralize power... My dad, before he died two years ago told me the same thing and my dad was also very scared of not only Bush but the folks he had surrounded himself with... And this from a Nixon Republican businessman... Same tune, different day... And what is so scarey nopw is seeing what these autocrats are trying to do with federal judges... This is definately brownshirtism at its best/worst... I'm just hoping that Joe Sixpack will come out of the trance long enough to come to the defense of democracy but at best, that;s just a hope as Joe seems to caught up in consuming, workin' his butt off, being in debt over his head and the usual: NASCAR/Budweiser/coutry music... Bobert |
Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Little Hawk Date: 14 Apr 05 - 12:20 PM Most really effective liars are quite good at lying to themselves, given what I've seen. Or else they know they're lying...but they figure the end fully justifies the means. Or it's a mixture of the two. Well, I'm not gonna worry about it. I'm gonna go and make some music. |

Bush doesn't care what your little group of radicals thinks and he is not reading these posts so why don't you find something to do that just might enhance your unhappy little lives because we have a president that you don't like. |
Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: GUEST,*Laura* Date: 14 Apr 05 - 05:57 PM He also doesn't particularly care that you support him, and probably wouldn't think twice about bombing you if you got in his way. |

Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: Once Famous Date: 19 Apr 05 - 03:43 PM Actually guest Laura, I only voted for Bush to keep Kerry out. Looks like every vote counts. On the contrary, I do believe he cares that I voted for him. Of course it's just typically childish of you to assume he doesn't, you being the expert on American politics and all. BTW, I hear even though you share the same name as the first lady, you are deteriorating at a much more rapid pace, especially around the corners of the eyes and above the upper lip. |
Subject: RE: The George W. Bush Thread. From: GUEST,Public Domain Date: 20 Apr 05 - 11:16 AM You're a dreamer to think he cares about your misguided vote. |
