Subject: BS: Wedding at 04 Yorkshire Gathering From: Allan C. Date: 17 Jul 03 - 10:31 AM As promised in our engagement announcement, Terri and I are now ready to supply more details regarding our nuptials. Thanks to the kind permission of Tracy and Gary Dolman, owners of The Black Dog Inn and the encouragement of Mrs. Duck, who coordinates the Yorkshire Mudcat Gathering, (insomuch as such a thing can be coordinated,) Terri Messenger and Allan C. Clark are pleased to invite all residents of Mudcatdom to attend (virtually or physically) our handfasting. The event will take place on Saturday, 22 May, 2004 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon during the Yorkshire Gathering. A ceilidh and other folky fun will immediately follow the ceremony. Casual attire is encouraged. |

Subject: RE: BS: Wedding at 04 Yorkshire Gathering From: katlaughing Date: 17 Jul 03 - 06:01 PM Who amongst you has a laptop with microphone and PalTalk downloaded? Who shall step up and bring this momentous event to the Mudcat World? Anyone of us can start up a room at PalTalk for it, so that's all that would be required on that end, well...the mic would have to be fairly close to them for us to hear the actual ceremony, but we could certainly hear the huzzahs and music after with a general mic.**BG** Not to worry...plenty of time for looking in to this.:-) kat |

Subject: RE: BS: Wedding at 04 Yorkshire Gathering From: Liz the Squeak Date: 17 Jul 03 - 06:08 PM The equipment isn't going to be a problem - it's the use of a phone line that isn't going to cost the earth or create a dangerous situation with lengths of lead stretching all over the place.... however, with some nice poles and some gaffer tape, I'm sure we can arrange something...... Subject: RE: BS: Wedding at 04 Yorkshire Gathering From: Mrs.Duck Date: 17 Jul 03 - 06:34 PM Oh I think it will have to be duck tape Liz!!!!!!! Maybe if we can't actually have instant play with it being outside we could use a digital camcorder and send it through as soon as we can through Gary's computer. Raggytash said he had a CCTV thingy that might be able to send pictures. Will look into all possibilities. |
