Noreen, you're in the friggin' band, like me, like it or not, and the band's booked, so you are. Let's inveigle Barry (who's also in the band) into doing the PA and the calling. And Bassic, you are new to the band, and booked. Thank you, sir.

I'll stay the night, this time!

Congrats, again, yoos two

Skippy - Manitas is going to be there as well, so he's available to play, he also has PA...... if it will fit in the car with all those egg cups.

Well bloody hell! I guess me and skipjack will be first at the nuptuals. Gerroff he's mine-shall I wear me sheepskin? You can bring that slinky snakeskin thong you wear Greg!Noreen of course I thought it was for granted you were ex-officio in the band. I guess Bill will organise it all etc(The players) I might even be tempted into the passing of alcohol to celebrate.

Woohoo! I'm sure I can persuade Parker to come and to bring the camera too!

Who's doing your handfasting ceremony Morty?

I think egg cups are a good idea, it give them something to drink the GIN out of.......

I seem to have lost my place as the Scratch Band's bass player. Can I apply for a position on one of my other instruments? Otherwise I might have to dance and nobody will enjoy that, least of all me!

Morty can have the gin. I can't bear it. My preferences are for brownish liquids such as Kentucky or Tennessee sipping whiskey (12 year old George Dickel will do nicely.) Jameson's has great appeal as well. I also like beers that have a bit of treacle in them or, of course, Guinness.

However, to quote a dear friend, "If scotch were all there were to drink, I'd never have become an alcoholic."

...er...which I am not, BTW.

Look I've told you people how to drink gin before. Get a stainless steel vacuum flask. Half fill it with gin. Get some really good ginger beer (if the ingredients say 'flavourings' rather than 'ginger' don't use it). I recommend Fentimen's. Add the ginger beer to the flask. Put the flask in the freezer. Take out (much later) and drink on a really warm day. I bet even Allan could drink gin this way.

I need to be convinced about 'merican whiskey, though, Allan. Bring plenty - I'm a slow learner. In return we will provide Powers and Paddys, which some (including us) prefer to even Jamesons.

If George Dickel is only 12 years old, he shouldn't be drinking. What are his parents thinking of?

Sounds enticing, Les, especially if you pour the gin on the ground rather than to put it into the flask with the ginger beer.

"Yes Dear!" ..

I always knew Allan would make some lucky woman a wonderful husband! He even gets up and makes the coffee in the morning!

I'm actually considering coming over. May 2004 may give us enough time to find some money.

Best wishes and good luck Darlings!

Love, Annamill & Honey

Should those of us who can't be present in person be booking our virtual "top hat 'n' tails" from a virtual Moss Bros? Or is it folk formal (Mudcat T-shirts, sandals and funny hats). Can you get virtual confetti?

It is my sad duty to inform all of you that the plans Terri and I had made fell through. Nobody could have been more surprised than we at this turn of events. I doubt anyone could be more sad. We both appreciate the many good wishes we received from all of you. Even more, we appreciate the support we have received from those of you who have already been aware of the change. Thank you!
