I've been wandering through various libraries and checked Polish revolutionary song - Warszawianka 1905 (Whirlwinds of danger) in many languages, but I can't find only Irish version. Perhaps it was not translated by Irish....

respondents gave lyrics in English and in Polish, but the latter is apparently a mixture of 1831 and 1905 versions of the song. The link to http://papirus.pdi.net/hymny/warszawianka.html no longer works.

Does guest refer to a song in Irish Gaelic or a song in English translated by an Irish person? I haven't seen other references to either. cnd, seems to me that these are unrelated tunes with related name, geographic i.d.

I know two variants of the Irish dance tune "Shoe the Donkey". It's a type of "mazurka". I am only familiar with Irish mazurkas and I don't know how they compare with the Polish mazurka. But Warszawianka is sung as a march and doesn't remind me of Shoe the Donkey. I can see and hear the close similarity between Varsouviana (Warsoviana) and Shoe the Donkey https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7Sx1_Q7iLw , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrPvLBjfQ_Q but not with the Warsawianka song.

I refer to Gaelic adaptation of Warzawianka, I've been writing articles about various languages-Warszawianka on AWS (anti-war song site) for a long time, but I haven't been able to find any info on it in Gaelic. I've found Gaelic translations of "L'internationale" and "The red banner (British communist song)" in articles from Irish leftist groups, but nothing on that song anywhere. ....
It would be nice to have access to Some kind of Irish labor song collection through some e-library or something, but most of them are written only in English.

Usually when posts appear with all of the question marks they are spam. In this case I think you aren't aware that you need to convert the non-English symbols from the lyrics into html for them to display properly in the Latin alphabet. We have a couple of folks who are good at this, so I'll leave your non-working text there and see if one of the html experts comes along and offers to help.
