Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Stodola Pumpa (trad. Czech) From: GUEST,Guest: Cindy Date: 24 Mar 15 - 12:51 PM I learned these words back in the early 1960's. Walking along, we're singing as we go, Under the stars the night winds softly blow Then from the hills we hear a nightingale Singing it's song out over hill and dale. HEY! etc. |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Stodola Pumpa (trad. Czech) From: GUEST,Kiv Date: 13 Jun 24 - 09:49 AM I remember the verse that Carol Dixon Sparks writes above, But also remember Walking at night With laugh and merry song Leaves rustling in We slowly walk along (slowly) (Then repeat faster ending Hey!) And into the Stodola Pumpa We were told if you want some tete a tete time you met after dinner at the barn pump which gave you excuse to leave the house…but by some of the comments above I thing the teacher just gave us a sweetened explanation. |
