You know, you're right, Gervase. I shouldn't be leasning on Kay, and I apologize for singling her out.

It wasn't the fart jokes as such that was getting under my skin -- I am familiar with their noble history -- but the dedicated promotoion of stupidness which upset me. The mudcat has always struck me as a place where those with more than two brain cells could find kindred souls and speak honestly and clearly. When someone runs around spreading idiocies it gets harder and there aren't that many such places left. I just think that we should struggle against the fall of darkness, not dramatize accelerating it.
