Subject: RE: Hull Shanty Festival 23rd 24th July 2011 From: Sir Roger de Beverley Date: 24 Jul 11 - 05:12 AM I spent about six hours in the Minerva session on Saturday before returning to Leeds on a train full of Liverpool football supporters (and police). Very good turnout and good singing (at the pub, not the train) . I managed to sneak my Tom Waits song into the singaround after which a man that I had never met before came up and shook my hand saying how much he had enjoyed it. Wish I could have stayed longer R |
