Subject: Is this a Dick Gaughan song - If you're in my From: Ewan McV Date: 03 May 99 - 05:32 PM Under another thread title I'm asking for lyrics for 'If you're in my land with a gun in your hand, you ain't no friend of mine'. It has now been suggested that the song has been recorded and perhaps composed by Dick. What can you tell me? Ewan McVicar |

Subject: RE: Is this a Dick Gaughan song - If you're in my From: Johnny J Date: 23 Jun 19 - 05:11 PM :-)) It was during the period when US Cruise missiles were to be stored at Greenham Common. Reagan as President and The US foreign policy was particulary "hawkish" at the time. I hadn't realised until now that Dick doesn't seem to have recorded the song unless I'm missing something. |
