If this is common knowledge and I missed it, I apologise, but I was very glad to hear that Dick Gaughan is apparently performing in Aberdeen tonight as part of the "Far, Far From Ypres" performance, in Aberdeen's "His Majesty's Theatre" no less. His name was included in the publicity, and he was also mentioned by name in an interview Siobhan Miller did for today's "Press And Journal".
I hadn't heard any news of Dick for a while since his unfortunate illness was reported on this website - maybe people are better informed than me and knew about his return to stage, but in case not, I thought I'd share what is very good news for his many fans.
I can't get to the show, unfortunately, but if I hear how it went, I'll let you know.
Kenny

Can't find any mention on the Gaughan Forum (on Dick's website) of Dick performing again.

Billy Bragg posted a photo of himself and Dick Gaughan and wrote:
"Thanks to Celtic Connections for inviting me to be part of the John Maclean centenary concert last night in Glasgow. Many highlights, but singing The Red Flag with my old pal Dick Gaughan was a special moment. Having been unable to perform for many years due to poor health, he was on great form and received a standing ovation when he took the stage."

Oh, that's good to hear, Felipa. He seemed to be in poor health when he performed for our tour group in 2015, and I heard after that that was in much poorer health. I hope he keeps getting better.
