Okay, I can't divilge my sources but the word is that Hillary Clinton, if elected, is seriously considering offering inpatient rahab to all Obama-heads, regardless of whether or not they want it... Yup, she is going to open up closed military bases and bring in teams of psychologists, psychiatrists, counselers, electro-shcok thearapists and hypnotists to feprogram the millions and millions of people who have fallen under Barak Obama's spell...

According to a annonomous spokesman it is Clinton's opinion that most of the brainwashed Obama-heads are good candidtaes for rehibilitaion and should be able to return to the general population as productive citizens...

There is that danger, with over 75,000 people showing up at the Portland, Oregon, rally. That's major rock star attendance, and there certainly would be some risk that such attention might go to Obama's head. Other heads have "rolled" in similar circumstances.

But I still prefer to think that Obama will avoid that "box" as well. Certainly he should enjoy the moment, as he clearly did, but keep focused on all the other things that need to get done.

Obama voted for the $307 billion farm bill that rolled through Congress. The bill not only maintains subsidies for even the top 1% of farm owners but plows subsidies into agribusinesses, thoroughbred breeders, subsidies for corn for energy, etc.

Even the Wall Street Journal editorial page called it a 'scam.'

McCain had the courage to vote against it. He may pay for that if the big boys move support to Obama.

Parts of the bill that protected wetlands and wildlife habitat were deleted or shrunk.
The vote will win him supporters in Iowa and other farm states, but will increase global food prices and world hunger.

Obama's 'change' is a sham and a lie.

Gee whiz Q.......You couldn't be more right except most of the Congress will also be dancing to the tunes of their paying supporters as well and hence as I keep saying.......Politics is a matter of methodology and after the method is established, the system will function in pretty much the same manner no matter who occupies the offices.

You might prefer McCain and I Obama or Clinton but 4 years down the road there won't be a spits worth of difference in what happens. To really reform it we need revolution. Yep, Catspaw, it's fun to think that a candidate can make a difference, but in the end it makes no nevermind, the 'system' is on autopilot. Innocents like Amos will always be disappointed.
I remember Roosevelt was the last President who tried to change the step, but in the end, much of his alphabet soup was declared unconstitutional or got deep-sixed soon after his death. It took WW2 to turn the economy around and restart growth with real jobs once again. True, some of the make work jobs helped the parks, etc., and put beans in stomachs, but the country was marking time, without growth.
Globalization is restructuring the world, but our kids are not being educated sufficiently to meet the challenge, and differing views on social structure are colliding with little attempt to foster compromise and tolerance.
