I have ruined many a knit shirt by pulling on a thread.
I found that cutting the loose thread and then touching it with a small flame will either melt the thread in place or hide the protruding thread from view.

Dog/cat claws and knits don't mix

I find that if I just drive around long enough the treads remove themselves.

A fine crochet hook can be used to reach a pulled thread from the inside of a garment and pull it to the side of the fabric that is not seen. But I expect most catters know how to do that already.

It should go in Kendall's Life Never List:

Never pull a loose thread,
Never waste an opportunity for a pee,
Never waste an errection and
Never trust a fart!

Kendall stole that, Liz. (Nothing wrong with that.)

The thread-melting thing only works if it's nylon or some other synthetic. Cotton, I think, makes good torches.

I made it down to the "free" beach for a while yesterday, and discarded all my threads for a bit. Great way to relax.

The suspense is killing me - it all hangs on a thread ...

... I'm threadbare ...

... but check out my threads! ...

From the thread title I thought this was yet another Mudcat censorship thread.

Better drug the cat first. They don't like the clippers much.

Loose threads should always be pulled. The entertainment provided by seeing how large a pile of useless string one can create from a knit shirt far exceeds its value as mere clothing.

The last time I watched someone removing threads the drinks were highly overpriced.
