However, Haugaard & Høirup have a website and there are contact details there. Maybe you could ask their help?

The song is Trad, I did find that piece of information, at any rate.

Do you have any idea what "Om Sommeren" means? Babel Fish doesn't do Danish, or any other Scandinavian language.

In the collection ballads shown below, many ballads have the words "Om Sommeren" printed at the end of the first and the last verses, as if it meant "chorus" or "refrain."

Grundtvig, Sven, Axel Olrik, Hakon Harald Grüner-Nielsen, Erik Abrahamsen, and Hjalmar Thuren. Danmarks gamle folkeviser. København: Samfundet til den danske literaturs fremme, [etc.], 1853.

I also get some hits on "Om Sommaren."

Hello:

I'm looking for the Danish lyrics to a song by recorded by Haugaard & Høirup a few years ago titled "Om Sommeren" It's supposedly based on an old poem. My Danish is not good enough to pick up all the lyrics. Also any hints on the chords or tabs would be nice. I have the song partially worked out but would like to play it close to the original.
