Subject: RE: Johnny Collins Celebration Day (UK) From: Herga Kitty Date: 14 Jan 10 - 03:21 AM John Heydon has confirmed that overnight sleeping is not permitted in the Village Hall car park. Kitty |
Subject: RE: Johnny Collins Celebration Day (UK) From: My guru always said Date: 13 Jan 10 - 02:53 PM Hmmm, should have thought about it a little sooner.... Thanks Kitty & George! |
Subject: RE: Johnny Collins Celebration Day (UK) From: George Papavgeris Date: 13 Jan 10 - 02:49 PM Hilary, I know that Mike Sparks already had enquiries about caravans and the Village hall car park will definitely be full. There is a row of shops nearby with some parking, but I wouldn't bet on any space being available there either. Perhaps if you can park safely near someone who will be making their own way to the event and cadge a lift...? |
Subject: RE: Johnny Collins Celebration Day (UK) From: Herga Kitty Date: 13 Jan 10 - 02:21 PM MGAS - I'll make enquiries. I suspect the Village Hall car park will be too full.... Kitty |
Subject: RE: Johnny Collins Celebration Day (UK) From: My guru always said Date: 12 Jan 10 - 04:33 PM Silly question I suppose, but is there anywhere near the hall one could park a caravan overnight? A very disreputable caravan filled with port & cheese..... |

Subject: RE: Johnny Collins Celebration Day (UK) From: George Papavgeris Date: 06 Dec 09 - 07:05 AM Please make sure you contact the "JC Box Office" for tickets, rather than ask Herga members to put aside tickets, or simply posting on this thread, as all ticket issuing and indeed the whole event organisation is under a single hat. That way mistakes can be avoided too (so you don't turn up on the day based on a promise, only to be disappointed). The venue is pretty big, but at the moment tickets are being reserved in dozens from what I hear, so it is possible that we may reach the vilage hall's HSE capacity. I suggest you book earlier rather than later therefore. |
