Heeheehee; one weekend last summer, we camped at a resort a couple of hours from home. I must have been sleeping soundly that night, as I guess I was the only one in the tenting area who wasn't entertained for a good share of the night by one couple. A whole lot of people were laughing and commenting at breakfast, inluding my wife. I never did get a chance to spot what couple it was in that tent.

I can tell you Gnu, I saw them sneaking out , It was Spaw and Winona Rider. But the noise wasn't from the sex, it was from the burrito he ate earlier that day ... !!

Got ya Spaw ...!! tee hee

Olaf and Sherry used to make a hell of a row in the rooming house I once lived in. Well, no...not Olaf...just Sherry. She was LOUD, all right, and you might have thought she was in pain, but I knew better. When they weren't making love, they were fighting and arguing for hours about stuff...and that was a whole lot more annoying, let me tell you. After awhile it was arguing about 98% of the time, and then they finally broke up. Things got nice and quiet after that.

My wife and I were staying in an old bed and breakfast one night when we heard the couple in the next room gear up for a lovemaking marathon. But all we heard was five or ten quick bumps of their headboard against the wall followed by a mans voice saying "Damn - I'm sorry - I'm sorry....".

It was all we could do to keep from laughing our asses off. Esp the next morning when the other couples started coming down for breakfast and we tried guessing which couple it was that had the guy who was quick on the draw.

I have been entertained (if that's the right word) by ......enthusiastic.......couples, early this year at a campground - their tent didn't have very thick walls, neither did our caravan - and on another occasion by a couple in the next room, during the.....enthusiasm..... she said "you should know your way round my lumps and bumps by now"!

My goodness, I didn't quite know where to look next time I saw them. What does one say the next morning? "Good, was it?" "Did he find what he was looking for"? What?

Cheers
JennieG

Possibly the most notorious incident of this kind in my experience occured at a festival in the mid 90s. He had the only "camper" in the group - the rest of us were all tenters - making identification of the source quite simple.

A description of the "activity" would be difficult; but it probably is necessary only to note that for about a half dozen years thereafter some 3 or 4 hundred people "back home" knew exactly who you meant when you made reference to "Lassie."

I think he probably complained because he didn't get an invite, Bonnie... ;0)

My Dachshund would have complained. He barks even at tiny sounds from miles away that no human being would ever notice. A ruckus like that next door would make him go ballistic, I'm sure.

I was staying at a hotel in San Diego a few years ago, The young couple next door for days were trying to set a record . When they left the room the cleaning staff in the hallway started applauding. I was walking down the hall and saw them ... their faces were as red as a beet. LOL

At a festival a number of late night revellers came home and were having a last cup of tea/sandwich in the M & C Tent.

A couple started in a nearby tent and there seemed litttle point in going to sleep that night.

But I have to tell you when they emerged to go home the next morning, - he got a lot of admiring glances from the ladies, indeed as she did from the blokes.

To turn the concept a bit: We usually camp at the same-mentioned resort on summer holiday weekends. One weekend a year back, there was a dance, with local band, in a pavilion a few yards from the tenting area. The wife and I tired of dancing before things wound down for the night. We had just nicely settled in out tent, and were getting our things together, when the band struck up a good live version of "Twist and Shout". The next few minutes were a little crazy, but actually quite a bit of fun. I don't think we actually made any conspicuous noise, but someone might have noticed us laughing a little.
