I'm posting this with the blessing of the Goulders, and meant to do so earlier. Welcome news: Dave has a new CD out:

" 'A Gathering of Stones' - Dave has produced a new CD, a compilation of words and music relating to dry stone walling; many guest artists including Gordon Bok, Pete Coe, Derek Gifford, Brian Miller, Norman Nicholson, to name but a few. Sells for £7 (inc P&P UK).

Also the Rosehall Ceilidh Band CD has recently been re-mastered and is available, with new art work - a bargain at £5 which includes P&P in the UK.

For info - I've just reviewed the disc for Living Tradition mag, so the piece should appear in the next issue.

Maeve - the link you quoted above only leads to the EFDSS home page, and the reviews tab there lists "no product reviews available". Hmm...

Sorry, MoorleyMan. I was perhaps unclear. As Derek Schofield told us, Will Noble's review is only available when you buy the issue of the excellent "English Dance and Song" magazine. The link I posted leads to the "Catalogue :: Books and Publications :: English Dance & Song - Summer 2011" page, which should allow one to purchase the magazine issue.

One stop along his way will be a mid-week Dry Stone Wall workshop, with an evening house concert to celebrate the new album. Those events will take place outside and inside a wood panel yurt (you can perhaps deduce which location for each)in Midcoast Maine.

How I would love to join the dry stone walling workshop - that's something I would love to have in our garden. And his house concert too, how wonderful - enjoy!
