David Attenborough played Ian Cambell singing a very fine version of ' The Shoals of Herring ' and twice said it was Ewan MacColl, he also said they blew the programme budget bringing some Scottish singers to London to sing ' working songs ' when he really meant ' waulking songs '

But you can't knock his enthusiasm, he seemed to like folk music very much.
