Steve and Cindy have a new "About the Song" Website that tells the stories behind songs they have written:

My wife and I took a week-long cruise around Hawaii that was hosted by Steve and Cindy. They did two concerts for our little group of 20 or so, and we had a singaround every night. It was a nice opportunity to get to know them.
Cindy liked my singing. That did wonders for my confidence.

Yup; if there's anything better than hearing Steve perform, it's hearing them together; we've had the good fortune several times now.

Steve and Cindy continue to tour. If they're playing near you be sure to attend their concert. You'll be glad that you did.

If he had written or sung nothing else, all of us would be indebted to Gillette for the magnificent "Darcy Farrow," which has never worn out its welcome.   I doubt that's even possible.

The most recent version of it that I've heard, on Ian Tyson's Carnero Vaquero (Stony Plain, 2015), also happens to be my favorite, a particularly well conceived and moving reading. But I've never heard a version I didn't like.

I've known Steve for 50 years, Great songwriter, guitarist, and one of the sweetest men I have ever met.
