I'm a singer, song leader, play accordion and concertina, I'm a contra and country dance caller/teacher, and an aging hippie happy homemaker.

I love dark chocolate, but don't care for chocolate with fruit, such as orange or raspberry
Other "sweet" loves: marzipan, vanilla cream, honey, ginger
I sometimes have an allergic reaction to walnuts, but other nuts are fine, even pecans.
I drink dark, strong "builder's tea" and my poison of choice is Taylor's of Harrogate Scottish Breakfast.
I do not, sadly, drink any alcohol

Silver, but I have very specific jewellery that I wear.

I'm autistic, so sensory things can be interesting - I love the feel of velvet or velvety surfaces because they relax me. I'm also partial to sparkly things that I can play with.

I'm diabetic, teetotal, terrified of clowns, spiders and dogs (among other things), and allergic to nickel silver and sodium metabisulphite (a food preservative). I also hate the feel of raw silk.

5. What books have you really been wanting? I work in a library, so I usually get to take care of that myself, but if you have any music hall, burlesque, or vaudeville recitations, etc. laying around?

6. What type of music do you like? Mostly traditional folk, vocal and instrumental. I was raised on classical, opera, and broadway, so that?s good. Oh, and medieval, Renaissance, Baroque - anything but modern discordant stuff. Novelty songs are always good, too.

7. What CDs have you really been wanting? I always enjoy anything local to you, or anything you?ve performed on. Other suggestions: If you?re Canadian, I?d like something by Penny Lang. I heard her when I was in college (mumble) years ago, and loved every minute of it. If you?re in Great Britain, I really need another copy of Taffy Thomas?s Take These Chains from My Heart. I have another friend who needs to hear it, and I don?t really want to just burn a duplicate.

Also, I?ve gotten some lovely Christmas ornaments in times past. So this is probably more than you ever wanted to know, but I thought I?d give you a wide menu to choose from.    My Elf-Scouts are already hard at work trying to procure quality presents. I do think we'll. Have to rule out the Pokemon Plushies. One of my scout elves snick into a toy store to check them out, climbed on the shelf for a closer look and some little child grabbed him and wanted to buy him. He yelled "BOO!" and the child ran off crying to its mother while my elf quickly ran for cover and now wants nothing to do with plushies and applied for hazardous duty pay. Fret not, as other great goodies will come your way.

Well, to be honest with you, it's been a tough time here at the North Pole, or the bit of it where we are. There's been a nasty case of galloping hoof rot among some of the reindeer, and most of the two legged staff have been smitten with snuffles and sneezes and coughs and diseases. So there's been more of a delay than anticipated. However, fear not - the gifts have been wrapped and will soon be on their way. It's a bit of a trek, but you will have guessed that. You have been a priority case and things should arrive in good time.

My two House Brownies, Hash and McGhee, have seen no trace of your messengers among the Wee Folk aiding others this Christmas. They'd like to know where you are, so they can make sure the present's safe and be able to go out to whatever party that the local Wee Folk and any wandering visitors go to every year are attending. Well, it was a close call, according to Reindeer Central, but your package should soon be flying in your general direction. If I had known you would be so close, I would have hand-delivered it, since Iceland is a second home to me! As it is, it will arrive by the usual methods.

I guess this means you can stop behaving yourself, as the Deed is Done and there's nothing more I can do about it!
