So what do I have to do to get my cookie back again?

And when I try to send a personal message, it tells me I'm not a member. Then, when I try to join again, it tells me I'm already a member.

Much as I like being a guest, I'd like even better to get back my cookie and send some personal stuff to people....

Please can anyone help a poor confused ole mother? Is it because I work for the IRS that you're keeping me out? Have I offended Max by making fun of his haircut?

Go to Membership and then click on reset cookie...type in your name as you registered it and then your password.

I removed my cookie by mistake while doing some hard drive cleaning. I think I put my info back in on the membership page and then hit the reset cookie link ?

Definitely try the "reset cookie" from the quicklinks menu. My roomate at home cleans out all cookies and caches on a daily basis, so I end up having to reset daily at home. It should work... if not, the help forum is gonna have to get in on it.

Are you hitting "Reset Cookie?" If so you should get a screen that has you enter your name.....ie Liz the Squeak...then you shoud get a screen asking for your password. If you don't remember it ask Max in the HELP forum section.

Click on Membership
Click on Reset Cookie
You'll get a screen that says "Login"
Type your code name (this has to be exact) into the block labeled "CodeName" and click submit
You'll get a screen with a block labeled "CodeName" which is filled in, and a block labeled "Password" which isn't.
Type your password in and hit "Submit Query"
Do not back up to get to the forum. Click whatever it is you click to get there in the first place. If this doesn't help, let us know at which point something didn't do what you expected, and we'll take it from there.

Good point Jeri.......re: backing up. Your instructions are exact. When you reach the point where it says "Your Cookie has been reset. Tou are now acting as Liz the Squeak with an email of whatever" AT THAT POINT CLICK ON "Lyrics, Forum,&Chat" underneath the Mudcat Cafe banner.

How about letting us know where this goes wrong for you?

I've never made it to the point that says 'your cookie has been reset', it always tells me that it doesn't recognise my password. I click the box that says click here if you forgot your password and it will be E mailed to you, but I still haven't got it over a week later.....

Sorry chaps to be boring, but I just want to be allowed in to play again.......

If I try to join, it tells me that I'm already in the database, but if I try to log in, it tells me it doesn't recognise me and that I've expired or been deleted....

Hi Liz; Hope you get back in We've missed you!. Pattymac, I use the recipe on the back of the quaker oats box but I add a teaspoon of almond extract and I put dried cranberries in too. I might also add that I recommend real eggs and real butter. No lard, crisco or margarine and none of those damned egg beaters! I can't tell you cooking time. I have a convection oven and it cooks quite rapidly so your baking time may be different. Good luck and let me know how they turn out, reguards, Neil
