Subject: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: CarolC Date: 23 Jan 01 - 01:38 AM On Saturday, January 27, I expect to arrive in The fair city of Orillia, Ontario, to be officially installed as honorary citizen and recieve my honorary McGill key. (I'll start putting u's in words like honorary after I get there.) As official keeper of the McGill key, flattop will be my host during my visit. The length of my visit is, at this time, open ended, but could last as long as four weeks. I hope to be able to meet as many Canadian Mudcatters as possible during my visit. Hope to see you there! Carol

If ya get down as far as Windsor, ask yer cabbie to take you to the Kildare House... I'm there more often than I'm not.. long red pony tail and fedora... Sat by the Guinness tap... Smking like it's a cure for cancer... We'll do a shot of Tully! ;-) |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: CarolC Date: 23 Jan 01 - 01:58 AM Hi Clinton, I think flattop will be in charge of making arrangements for getting me together with other Mudcatters. I guess he's going to be my cabbie, too. I suspect he'll be getting on this thread eventually. It would be great to do a shot of Tully (or something) with you! Carol |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: CarolC Date: 23 Jan 01 - 02:38 AM WYSIWYG, Are you joking? I'm going to be on a train for more than 24 hours to get there (plus a two hour drive from Toronto to Orillia in flattop's truck). I don't think I would do that if I hadn't been invited, first. You're joking, right? |

Flattop is sure to be a fine host and the rest of the crew up there cannot be compared. They are wonderful folks to visit. I only wish I had been able to stay longer. Good luck on your journey! |

On saturday we celebrate 7 years of the Orillia Folk Society with Winterfolk. 1:00 pm till 9:00pm ish at Blackberry Hill Farm. Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: hesperis Date: 23 Jan 01 - 09:25 AM Awesome! Carol gets to meet my hamsters, too, which is an honour that only a few mudcatters would receive, even if they visited Orillia. I'm going to have to clean that other room now though..... just so she can get into it to see them! (Waaah!) Oh, and if the rest of you want to see my hamsters, they've got a webpage here. Looking forward to seein' ya, eh? |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: Mooh Date: 23 Jan 01 - 09:58 AM Too bad bass season will be closed. Maybe you'll get some perch through the ice. Have yerself a visit to the Atherley Arms Hotel. You did mean January? July's much warmer, and October much purdier. Pretty much like where I live. If yer wanderin', drop me a line, I'm in Goderich, the roads are only closed for whiteouts half the winter. Mooh. |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: wysiwyg Date: 23 Jan 01 - 10:17 AM Spaw, I think the Orillia contingent IS the NYCetc., northern outpost. I certainly found my brief visit with their advance team therapeutic. Maybe they have a surgical unit as well. Surgery at the Neil Young Center. There ya go! ~S~ |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: Willie-O Date: 23 Jan 01 - 10:45 AM Carol, the big thing next to Orillia is Lake Simcoe. The big thing in Lake Simcoe this time of year is ice fishing for smelt. There's also a big gambling joint (Casino Rama) just on the south side of the lake. A couple of years ago formerly unusual weather stranded hundreds of ice fishers out in the lake...so its starting to look like that's another form of gambling. Spaw is just jealous because whatever Orillia may or may not have to offer, it's just a short drive from Toronto, and he longs after the big city experience but has never been to one. Maybe you can talk Flattop into an excursion to Ottawa for Winterlude--do you skate? (A five mile section of The Rideau Canal is made into the world's longest skating rink every winter and there's this big party...it's more civilized than what goes on on Lake Simcoe.) It's not too likely I'll have a chance to meet you, but it's grand that you're coming. Willie-"East Ontari"-O |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: flattop Date: 23 Jan 01 - 12:49 PM Orillia's Lake Couchiching is named after the Indian word for windy lake. Perhaps we could rename it after the Indian word for laughing lake until Spaw comes up for a winter month, then we'd have to name it back to Couchiching. The good news is that Carol is indeed coming up for a McGill pilgramage or a McGillgramage. The bad new is that the timing is not as great as Sophocleese thought. Carol's train will arrive about two hours after Orillia Folk Society's Winterfolk at Blackberry Hill Farm ends. This is worse news than you might expect. We don't have a lot of winter events so, believe it or not, we might have to make up a few non-events. Shophy is a world class singer. She also read music, writes songs, and plays guitar, bodhron, recorder and rhythm things attached to her ankles. She and her musical partner Terry (who is president of the Orillia Folk Society), play great music. I may catch their act, Brookes and Cooper, at Winterfolk before heading down to meet Carol's train. When Carol arrives we will have to nominate her for Ms McGill 2001. For those who don't read long rambling Don't Post threads, McGill Environmental is an Orillia company that rents beautifil blue plastic toilets to events like folk festivals. To advertise, they attached one of their toilets with a stuffed man in it on the back of Rombo's restaurant. Carol claims to have written the first limerick about our McGills. I can't find it even when I supersearch. The 'Don't Post' threads are such a mess. Her limerick should put her in a good spot with McGill's totally biased judges. I trust mudcatteers will be proud if Carol becomes Ms McGill 2001. Banjer wrote the second McGill limerick. He might have a good chance of winning Ms McGill 2002. And yes, Spaw has a good point. You can visit most of Orillia's tourist sites in under 40 minutes. It shouldn't take four weeks but Carol needs more time. To win the title of Ms McGill, one must sit on a winter cold McGill and meditate. The longer a contestant sits the more likely that they will be picked a winners. Former winners have had tough exteriors. Carol wrote that she would like to meet Canadian mudcatters on her visit. We should be able to get easily together with Toronto mudcattters. Clinton, you might split the drive and meet us at a Toronto gathering. I'm thinking of asking Jim if we can have a party at the Newmarket Corner Coffeeshop. It's just up the 404 from Rick's house. Ottawa and Godderich are a fair distance but eating hot Beaver Tails on the Rideau might be tempting. I'll write more about get togethers later. Today's a very bad day for writing. Post your ideas on meeting to this thread please. |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: CarolC Date: 23 Jan 01 - 05:11 PM Thanks everybody! I know, Spaw. It does seem like a joke doesn't it. But think about it. This is me we're talking about. Would you expect me to do any less than spend my February in a place like Orillia Ontario? I'm just not normal (but I like it that way). Anyway, I'm really looking forward to meeting all of my Orillia buddies, and hopefully quite a few non-non-clique Canadians as well. Carol |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: flattop Date: 24 Jan 01 - 04:29 PM Hello Everyone, We will discuss options on this thread as soon as we have any possibilities lined up. I believe it was just last Friday that I suggested that Carol come up for a visit. She's already packing so things can move quickly. I will try to talk to Jim in Newmarket before Carol arrives. He books musicians for Friday and Saturday nights, some Sundays they have writers' groups and some Wednesdays they have song circles. That may leave some Sundays and weeknights open. If anyone has a better idea ... Little Hawk has agreed to photograph Carol's visit with his digital camera. I wonder if he's figured out how to do self-portraits? |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: hesperis Date: 24 Jan 01 - 07:19 PM Hawk and I are going to Toronto next wednesday for another allergy treatment. I wouldn't advise meeting then, as we have weird food restrictions (I mean, even weirder ones than usual,) and that might not be good. Newmarket is really good for me, as the Corner Coffeehouse is non-smoking. Just not wednesday. |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: CarolC Date: 24 Jan 01 - 08:28 PM Spaw, I think you're just jealous that I get to go to Orillia, and you don't. I bet somebody would let you stay with them if it would make you feel better. Then you could show the Orillians what real fireworks are all about. And you and Little Hawk could sing songs around my Hohner as it burns. And toast marshmallows... |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: flattop Date: 25 Jan 01 - 07:01 AM If Carol get so bored in Orillia that she burns her accordian, if she finds our Orillia Square Mall anything less than thrilling, if she feels that Little Hawk has clipped wings, and if she spits out her coffee at Tim Hotron's, we will know who has the evil power of suggestion. We'll know who has poisoned her mind and turned our exciting little town into dog droppings in the snow. |
|
Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: hesperis Date: 25 Jan 01 - 09:30 AM "exiting little town" ...? And what medications are you taking, flattop? The most exciting thing in this town lately is that Carol's coming! (The previous ramblings were partly a j/k. So laugh, ok?) |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: Jimmy C Date: 25 Jan 01 - 10:26 AM I'm only about 1 hour down the highway in Whitby, but I will be gone for a while, I may be back towards the last week of your visit. I will keep an eye on the thread. Would love to meet you and other catters. Hope you have a great time in Canada. Have passed through Orillia many times, quaint little town. |
|
Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: Naemanson Date: 25 Jan 01 - 11:26 AM I can see it now, advertised throughout Mudcatville, "Come to Orillia, the center of the Mudcat Universe." It could be the start of a whole series of pilgrimages. I cannot say anything about small towns. I grew up in a town with a population of under 500. The "big city" was only 10 miles away and had a population of about 8,000. I don't know what the population of Bath, Maine, is but we have three stop lights. All in the same intersection. |
|
Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: Naemanson Date: 25 Jan 01 - 11:29 AM By the way, Carol, have a great time. And the next time you want to take a month off for fun come to Maine. Between me, Kendall, Uncle Jaque, Downeast Bob, Brion, and all we should be able to keep you entertained. If you wanted to expand your visit to NH then you're looking at a huge number of 'catters to visit. |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: GUEST Date: 25 Jan 01 - 11:52 AM Don't mind hesperis. She's been taking medication to lower her irony levels. I think it's working too well. |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: CarolC Date: 25 Jan 01 - 01:29 PM Hey flattop, you forgot to sign your name. Anyway, I never mind hesperis. Thanks Naemanson. Sounds like a tempting offer. (Hey... if I get really good at this, I could mooch off people all year long. This definitely has possibilities...) |
|
Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: Little Hawk Date: 25 Jan 01 - 02:45 PM Well, well...isn't this great! I can hardly wait for Carol to arrive in the burgeoning metropolis of Orillia, the gem of Simcoe County. You're right, Carol, Spaw is jealous. He's sick with jealousy! He's probably gnawing on the rug right now, and foaming at the mouth. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. Eat your heart out, Spaw! Of course, a month might be just a little too long to stay totally fascinated by Orillia... Hmmm.... Better consider shortening that period of time a tad...like to 3 days maybe. I think we can find enough possibilities here to cover 3 days. Then again, flattop hasn't shown you his toenail collection yet. It's a big one. That could actually keep you engrossed for at least 4 more days. Then there are the McGill's that are scattered around town. They may all look similar from the outside...but inside it's a different story! I'm not gonna spoil it for you by going into details on that one. Ummm...we do have a whole bunch of Tim Horton's donut shops here, eh? After all, this is Canada, eh? Geez, I'm starting to sound like Blind Drunk in Blind River. There are a fair number of guys around here like him. They gather once a month when the welfare checks come out and infest the local bars...like "The Booze Anchor". God, how Spaw must envy you this trip!!! - LH p.s. If Hesperis actually DOES clean up the other room it will definitely have been worth it! So I say come...come postehaste! |
|
Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: CarolC Date: 25 Jan 01 - 02:48 PM Oops, sorry Jimmy C. Didn't mean to skip over you. If you let either me or flattop know in a PM when you'll be back, maybe we can arrange something. It would be great to meet you, too. Carol |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: CarolC Date: 25 Jan 01 - 02:55 PM Well, Little Hawk, I was kind of counting on you to keep me entertained for at least two weeks explaining Dylan songs to me while I accompany you on my accordion. Toenail collection, huh? |
|
Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: catspaw49 Date: 25 Jan 01 - 03:25 PM Hawk, I am indeed green.....on the other hand, I'm not blue with cold like the denizens of that gawd forsaken place you live. I am quite content to live in a tiny village which has no illusions. We have only a dozen streets, mainly still brick, and not even one traffic light. We have no restaurant, no grocery store, just a little family owned shoot and scoot where the old guys hang out in the morning. People don't lock their doors much, some of us don't know where the house keys are even. All in all its completely funky, a fifties throwback. ...............Thank gawd there's a town of 50,000 about 15 minutes away.........and that Columbus is a 45 minute drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spaw (the green is the moss that grows on me) |
|
Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: Little Hawk Date: 25 Jan 01 - 03:34 PM Sounds kind of nice, Spaw. I remember a lot of little places like that in New York State. They were awfully boring during adolescence, but later on one appreciates the peacefullness and the unlocked doors. The one thing I like least about Ontario is the winter weather. Other than that, it's a great place to be. Carol - Don't worry. I am in the habit of saying atrocious and totally untrue things about flattop. As for the Dylan songs, yep, I can explain 'em all...except for Woogie Boogie...that one defies analysis. - LH |
|
Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: hesperis Date: 25 Jan 01 - 04:10 PM Hawk!!! I said I'd clean it up for *when* she comes. She's not seeing the inside of my place for at least three days after she comes anyway. (So I figure I'm safe...) |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: CarolC Date: 25 Jan 01 - 10:06 PM Can anyone tell me if pepper spray is legal in Ontario? I'd like to bring mine with me, but not if it's going to be confiscated at the border. Thanks. Carol |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: catspaw49 Date: 25 Jan 01 - 10:11 PM Hmmmmm..........I guess Carol's kinda' worried abut flattop's toe nail collection................... Spaw |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: flattop Date: 25 Jan 01 - 11:31 PM No need to bring pepper spray. It would be considered a weapon and illegal to carry in Canada. Most canadians are unarmed and most Canadians are not dangerous. You might want pepper spray for when we sing out of tune in song circle but it could spoil the atmosphere. |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: CarolC Date: 26 Jan 01 - 03:20 PM I'll be heading out in a few minutes. I guess they won't have any access to the Mudcat on the train. I'll be back in touch in a couple of days. Carol (Ye-Haa!!!) |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: flattop Date: 27 Jan 01 - 10:10 AM Hello Eveyone, Carol should boarding her second train on her trip in Hammond Indianna as I write this. Seems like a queer way to get to Canada. I talked to Jim at the Corner Coffee House in Newmarket on Thursday night. He said that Sundays can be busy at the Coffee House if the weather is nice. He suggested that we try a saturday afternoon for a get-together. We booked Saturday, February 3rd, a week from today, 4-7 pm. We can stay longer if we wish. At eight o'clock Jim will have one of his saturday night performers playing. There's no cover charge. Newmarket is a 15 to 20 minute drive north of Toronto if you are on the east end and go up the 404. You can also hit the town by driving east on highway 9 off of highway 400. It's a about an hour's drive south and then east from Orillia. The coffee shop is at 227 Main Street, phone 905-895-1696. Turn south on Main Street from highway 9 (Davis Drive). (Unlike the other parts of Newmarket, Main Street retained a lot of the flavour of a small town.) Sophocleese has played at the coffeshop several time, Little Hawk at least once. I don't know about Toronto mudcatters. Jim runs a cozy little coffeehouse in a friendly, gentle, professional manner. Jim is a reitred British policeman and an author. He has several self-help books in print and I he recently signed a contract to publish novels that he has written. Jim also cooks a lot of the food, things like quiche and steak and kidney pie with mushy peas. I have more to write but now I must vaccuum and scrub the bathrooms before Carol's train gets too close. So, who wants to come to Newmarket next Saturday afternoon to meet Carol, play songs and talk? Who needs a ride with a friendly mudcat neighbour or even a crotchety mudcat neighbour? Please let me know in this thread or in a PM. Thanks. david |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: catspaw49 Date: 27 Jan 01 - 10:24 AM That's all well and good flats, but I'd like to hear more about your toenail collection. How are they categorized? How do you have them displayed? are there better ones in Orillia? Is Hawk envious? Why the hell is she taking the train anyway? Spaw |
|
Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: Allan C. Date: 27 Jan 01 - 11:01 AM Spaw, there is nearly a hundred dollars (US) difference between the train and air fares. If speed and convenience are not important, I suppose taking the train is not a bad option. |
|
Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: flattop Date: 27 Jan 01 - 12:09 PM I think the Hawk is confused, not envious. He's confused or being unscrupulous by turning a story that I told him back on me. At least when he turns stories back on me I recognize them. A friend who I lost track of after he moved to British Columbia and former bass player for Sam Moon, Matt Minglewood and the Unversal Power in Cape Breton in the late 60s, kept a toenail collection. I can still picture the toenail jar one hot summer night on his dresser in the rooming house room where he lived in the 70s. The rooming house was three houses from Rochdale in Toronto in the 70s. Rochdale was built as a U of T residence but it had quickly turned into a major drug center. That night we were playing acoustic guitars. A drugged out woman in the next room of the rooming house suddenly appeared. Well, her legs appeared - dangling out the window as she threatened her boyfriend that she would jump out the third floor window. My friend, annoyed, yelled out his window, "You always say that. For Christ's sake, jump." She declined although I don't recall her being overly polite. After she stopped dangling her legs the toenail collection on his dresser by the window sucked on my brain. Our moods had changed. He no longer wanted to play Pretty Woman so we talked toenails. Carol is taking the train because she doesn't like to fly. That seems perfectly reasonable to me since I don't like flying either. Unfortunately, I'm working on an Air Canada contract so I've had to fly to Montreal earlier this month and will have to fly again while Carol is here. |

I'm also supposed to do some wiccan thing with another friend on that same day... Arrgh! The dance thing is 1-4, and the friend thing was supposed to be after that... Hmmm. Maybe I can persuade my friend to come to that workshop instead of doing the wiccan thing...? We'll see what happens. February 4th is a normal Circle dance at Eady Hall, held by Kelly, $5 each and potluck, and since I won't be holding a Circle Dance until march 1st, I hope Carol would like to go to this one. Maybe the Orillia people can meet for lunch at Mezzaluna on Feb 2nd? 1 pm or something? |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: GUEST,JohnB Date: 27 Jan 01 - 12:57 PM Just got back from Montreal 7.30 last night. I guess the flying bit doesn't bother me too much as I have spent all my working life (yes it is a long time) in the aircraft industry. The bit about traffic lights rekindled a piece of nostalgia about streetlights. When I was a lad we had a Gas powered streetlight just outside our house. No the man did not come around every night to light it, I am not that old. He did however come round once a week to wind up the clock that ran the timer. Hope to make it to Newmarket next Saturday. See you there. JohnB. |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: Little Hawk Date: 27 Jan 01 - 12:57 PM Ah, yes...the Rochdale story (one of many). Flattop has so many good stories about Rochdale that it's hard to remember them all. Corner Coffeehouse should be a great gettogether. Hesperis, however, is no doubt burning out her brain cells at this very moment, trying to figure out how to be in 3 places at once. Arrrgghhh! Indeed. Grrrrrr, even. - LH |

She will want to tell you about her trip as soon as she catches up on her sleep. She only got a bit of sleep during the long train ride. We arrived here in Joyland Beach, east of Orillia, around 3am. Then we played music and talked until after 7 this morning. |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: flattop Date: 28 Jan 01 - 08:54 PM CarolC, here. I'm posting on flattop's cookie one time (just one time) as a souvenir of my visit here in Orillia. I'm pretty tired from the social whirl that is life with flattop, hesperis, and Little Hawk, here in Orillia, so I'm not going to say much right now. I just want to say hi, I'm here, I love it here, and everybody who's not here should be very, very, jealous. (Nya-Nya, I'm here and you're not...) Wish you all were here, too. Carol |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: hesperis Date: 29 Jan 01 - 01:18 PM Yeah, we had a lot of fun yesterday, and more's on the way today! BTW, Spaw, I distinctly recall, on another thread, inviting you to Mezzaluna for lunch. Did you think I was joking or something? Little Hawk even said he'd pay for your lunch... So find somebody to stay with, and you can come have a Canadian Adventure, too. You know we'd love to meet you and Karen! Hmmm, Song Circle tonight... WTH am I going to play? |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: CarolC Date: 30 Jan 01 - 05:14 AM Thanks, Jande. Hope you can make it up while I'm still here. Spaw, your post reminds me of something flattop is fond of saying to me from time to time. He says, "Carol, you're full of shit." And then I say, "Yeah, but it's really good shit". Thanks, Little Hawk. hesperis, sorry we missed you last night. You missed hearing me totally masacre a song on my accorion in front of the whole song circle. (flattop told me the worse people sing or play, the louder everyone applauds when theyre done. I almost got a standing ovation.) Carol |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: hesperis Date: 30 Jan 01 - 10:25 AM Define "complicated" when it comes to oatmeal, ok, flatso? Carol - Well, my headache's gone. I think it was just the smokiness of Finnegan's that set me off. I even practised a couple of pieces yesterday. Oh, well. Are you guys coming into town on friday for lunch? BTW, I don't know what flattop is babbling about your performance, because I heard that you did really well considering you were nervous. We never had an accordion at Song Circle before, either. (LH said that you were quite good, actually.) |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: Little Hawk Date: 30 Jan 01 - 11:04 AM It was a good song circle last night, with a lot of the usual regulars and a couple of new faces. Katy and Stu were there, doing duets mostly. The Daver came, and wowed us with his bluesy and smooth renditions of original songs. Trish was there, trying desperately to tune her 12-string. Jennifer sang some very soulful stuff, including one by Blackie and the Rodeo Kings (an Ontario folk trio, named after a Townes Van Zandt song). Little Hawk flew in, but Hesperis couldn't make it cos she was a bit low on energy last night, probably due to cigarette smoke the previous night at Finnegan's. A Canadian native man came, a new face, and played some original tunes on guitar and harmonica. Pauline blew the roof off, as usual, singing old Eagles and Jimmie Rodgers tunes. Larry the Luthier arrived late with his lovely daughter and a new guitar for us all to try out. Flattop sang "Jesus On That Mainline, Tell Him What You Want", in his ongoing quest to recruit members for the New Raptist Apothecarial Reform Church of Orillia, which only meets on February 30th each year, and then only if the weather is good. But...most notably....Carol C came with her accordion. Now this is the first time anyone has played an accordion at song circle, as far as I know, and it was very well received. Carol is anxious for people to know that accordions are not restricted to playing hackneyed polka music. The piece she played was indeed a very nice piece of music...sounded kind of classical to me. She was obviously nervous and tripped up a few times, but so what? It was still a great piece of music. I now hope to try and learn a little accordion from her, just to see what it's like. It appears to be quite challenging, as you've got 3 things to think about...chording and rythm with the left hand...melodies with the right...and pumping air through it with both arms. Actually, that's 4 things. Sheesh. No wonder she was nervous. - LH |

Subject: RE: BS: CarolC's Canadian Adventure From: CarolC Date: 31 Jan 01 - 11:27 AM RtS, that's great. I think I'll keep that a memento as well. Hi hesperis. flattop eats his oatmeal right out of the feedbag. I cook mine. To him, that's complicated. Re: lunch on Friday. We're going to try to make it to a song circle in Toronto Friday night. Would you guys like to come? At any rate, if we do that, we'll have to do lunch on another day. (I'm glad you're feeling better.) Little Hawk, you are very kind. Carol |
