Hi Gene!

I use a PC-Program called guitar tuner. When I play CDs or mp3 files the tuner very often shows the chords played by the artists. It works not with all songs but mostly that's the wy I figure out the chords od a song! try to find such a Program at www.zdnet.com in the download area!

Greetings, Marian

This may be the exact opposite of what you are looking for. But, I say do not use machinges to figure out music. If you do, you will never grow as a musician and your ear training will never progress. Trust, I've spent countless hours working out songs. It is hard work but it pays off.

I saw an article recently [here or on the net] about using a Chromatic Tuner to ID the chords in a song playing on CD player or CAS player...

Can any Mudcatter provide additional INFO???
