This Sunday, May 20th, the legendary Cyril Tawney will be my special guest on WFDU-FM's TRADITIONS.

Cyril will be discussing his career, the stories behind his songs, and the folk music scene. We will hear his historic performance on Alan Lomax's Christmas 1957 BBC broadcast and share recordings including Grey Funnel Line, Sally Free and Easy, Diesel and Shale, and many others.

WFDU-FM can be heard in the NYC area at 89.1FM. On the internet you can listen in at www.wfdu.fm . TRADITIONS can be heard from 3 to 6pm Eastern Time.
