I always thought him to be one of the good guys. |

Sheath and Knife , Just as the Tide was Flowing and the Bellringing come to mind as my favourites of his, but there were so many. I was dead jealous of Tony's beautiful voice, because he went off to be a teacher, whereas I wanted to be a musician and had a lousy voice. I told him how much it pissed me off! Frequently. I had the opportunity to see him perform just twice - once in London and once in Philadelphia. Those performances are memories to treasure. For nearly thirty as a club and festival organiser too. For the last fifteen or so, Tony the teacher, witty family man and rugby fan from Odcombe. They were all really smashing, talented blokes. I'll miss them all sorely, as will all of his friends in the Yeovil area. |
