There is also a song set to the tune of Jamie Foyers, called the Ballad of Johnny Ramensky, can't remember who wrote it, but I may have the words somewhere.

Far distant, far distant in Peterhead jail
Lies Johhny Ramensky, his escape bid did fail
Iron bars and red granite keep him frae the sun
And Johnny Ramensky nae freedom has won

That's all I can remember pro tem.

The one mentioned by Giok was written by Norman Buchan of Glasgow. He published it in his song column in the Weekly Scotsman in 1959. Some more info here.
