Subject: What should I write on washtub base? From: wilco Date: 20 Feb 03 - 10:32 AM My washtub base has several " personal modifications." In big 4" adhesive letters, I have "BABE MAGNET." Also, there is a bumper sticker that says, "Hug a musician; they never get to dance. And, on the edege, where you place your foot to hold the tub down, I have written: A, B, C, D, E, F, G. These are placed at equal intervals, and people will actually put there foot on the appropriate letters for the key we are playing in!!! I leave it out in front of the band, and invite anyone up there to play it. Great "ice breaker." |

Subject: RE: What should I write on washtub base? From: Annie Date: 22 Feb 03 - 07:46 AM Broke 3 strings and lost the wood part. Bass tablature: bum bum bum. The faster I play, the more bummed I get. Bumdaddy. (Wore that out) Out of tune, out of mind. (My personal favorite). No cracks about my G string. It's ALL about rhythm. Keeping the beat around here is like herding cats. |
