Mine sounds pretty lame compared with what most of you are saying- but it is what I'm grateful for today: sunshine. For the last week we've had brilliant blue skies and warm breezes. The trees have unfurled their tender young leaves, the grass is deep green and shooting up in irregular heights, crocuses, daffodils and tulips are everywhere.

Don't get me wrong- I love the mistiness of our normal climate when clouds hug the mountains for a volcano effect and the air is pure and sweet and you draw it in to the bottom of your lungs. But oh, this too is nice.

If this were our normal climate about 3 million people would be trying to live here!

Well, er, I guess, looking at my last rant post, I can feel blessed that I HAVE a job, even with the boss from Marine Boot Camp, that I HAVE a house with a nice chunk of equity, that exercise controls my diabetes

I too am grateful for simply another day. I hope for another 15 or 20 years of them, but for now, I'm satisfied with every one I get.

After all my complaining last week about the snow; it's a beautiful day. The daffodils are in bloom. Some of the early flowering trees are also in bloom. The tree in front of my house is beginning to get its leaves.

I received my niece's college graduation announcement. Double major in biochemistry & genetics! WOW!

Yesterday I sang in a performace of Brahams' Requiem. What a lovely work. We did it so well!!

My little sister, who's had 2 miscarriages in the past year, has just become pregnant again. They think they know how to prevent another miscarriage. Another baby in the family is my blessing!
