Subject: RE: BS: What's your blessing today? From: Ebbie Date: 30 Apr 03 - 06:43 PM Mine sounds pretty lame compared with what most of you are saying- but it is what I'm grateful for today: sunshine. For the last week we've had brilliant blue skies and warm breezes. The trees have unfurled their tender young leaves, the grass is deep green and shooting up in irregular heights, crocuses, daffodils and tulips are everywhere. Don't get me wrong- I love the mistiness of our normal climate when clouds hug the mountains for a volcano effect and the air is pure and sweet and you draw it in to the bottom of your lungs. But oh, this too is nice. If this were our normal climate about 3 million people would be trying to live here! |

Some of the early flowering trees are also in bloom. The tree in front of my house is beginning to get its leaves. I received my niece's college graduation announcement. Double major in biochemistry & genetics! WOW! Yesterday I sang in a performace of Brahams' Requiem. What a lovely work. We did it so well!! |
