I haven't heard David Bromberg's recording for a while, but I think his version is pretty much the same as Rev. Gary Davis's.

The Digital Tradition, right here at Mudcat, has at least four different versions of "Cocaine Blues" lyrics. Look for the "Lyrics and Knowledge Search" field at the top right of this screen, type "Cocaine Blues" (without the quote marks) into the search box, uncheck "forum" (i.e., leave "DT" checked) and click the "Search" button.

Four underlined blue links for COCAINE BLUES (plus for for COCAINE LIL) will appear. Click 'em one at a time and see what you get.

Thanks PoppaGator. I've finally found Luke Jordan's version, in which Bromberg had based his recording.
