Rory's name is what I automatically associate with the word stratocaster.
He is undeniably master of the battered strat though....

It's supposed to be 2 CD, one a collection, the other an unreleased live performance.

An album has just been released to co-incide with the anniversary. Not seen all the details but I'm sure it will be excelent!

He played (with Taste) at the South Bank Club in Grimsby a couple of times. I had a couple of requests and he obliged politely and enthusiastically.
I was never much on what became a "Eric is God" sort of thing but Rorr G was a great player and as I mentioned above a nice bloke.
PS Don't forget he supported Cream at the Albert Hall and by all acounts did just fine.

I saw Rory perform a number of times, and he was always worth seeing.
He is missed.

Should have posted this earlier, but the 'Cat was down most of the day. Anyway, I would like you all please to give a moment of thought (and if you feel inclined, raise a toast) to this great man, who sadly passed away ten years ago, to the day.
Perhpas the greatest way to remember him is by playing his songs.
Here's to one of the greats.
