I have your present, but just as I was about to wrap it, I saw that all of the green wrapping paper was missing. It turns out that the mossrot got into the reindeer fodder, and they ate the paper. It took a while to get everything cleaned up, cured, and straightened out. So now I hope to get it posted on Monday. (so sorry) Your lovin' Sian'sSS

You say that you don't want another moose head, so what do you hope is in that parcel?

What would you like to be in the next one?

Ooo! Ooo! This is wonderful! You must be psychic, as I don't remember putting anything like this on my wish list. And now that I'm trying to thank you in advance, my Ashcroft Cat (remember, its said he thinks that tricolor cats are "of the devil" - check snopes.com) is walking all over me and the keyboard purring like mad. Hmmm. Can I open the pressie a bit early, say, on the 21st?

I won't get my present until after Christmas now. I'm in the UK until 28 December, travelling around between friends and family.

Please Santa, make sure the package is addressed to Jacqui Morse. The previous owners of the house we have moved to were my brother in law and his wife, Jeannie. Any mail addressed to J Morse is being forwarded to another address.........

Blue tits? You get those by standing too long at the Number 1 bus stop in January without your woolly vest.

Now to my agenda: My Secret Santa doesn't think my work wardrobe is up to much -- Gee whillickers, you mean to say you elf people can peer in the windows of National Defence Headquarters? Doesn't that upset the military police? Or are you the military police?

That would explain the red cap.

I'm not sure a purple stripe in my hair is really suitable for a middle-aged lady editor. Filed teeth, on the other hand ... or a bone through the nose ... ?

Hmmm, I wonder if they could throw in a molar to replace the one I broke Thanksgiving Eve? All I want for Christmas is my one back tooth! (My dentist says I'll have to settle for a crown on New Year's Eve's Eve...)

The weather is cold, it is almost December, and it begins to feel like Christmas! I have a wonderful stack of cards and packages from my Secret Santa and am going to begin to work through the puzzles of map and compass orienteering here, of map reading and Mudcat research for there (UK), and a little timely unpacking of packages for all.

I hope to report back very soon!

My Secret Santa present has arrived, YAY!!!   And unlike Sinsull's mine has no annoying sign on it telling me to wait until Christmas. If fact, I was instructed to open mine immediately and mail off the additional items to unsuspecting individuals who will then think that the Anchorage postmark is where they originated. Thank you Santa, my present is great.

I always appreceate a good mind game. So if you get something postmarked Anchorage, Alaska, it MAY or MAY NOT be from me. You will just have to wait until Christmas to find out. I love this secret sh*t.

Happy Hollidays to all,
Mike

Just for laughs, I clicked on some of those links. Look what's on sale at the drinkee link!

BENOIT SERRES - Violette Liqueur   Was £17.79 - Now £16.21
70cl Bottle £ 16.21 Buy
6x 70cl Bottles £ 97.28 Buy
A violet-flavoured liqueur made with the oil of violets and vanilla.

Now, I might have some Violet flavoured gum or losenges occasionally, but you mean to tell me that you UKers drink this stuff? Eeeeeewwwwwww.
That'd be like drinking perfume, no?

Oh by the wa.. SANTA!
I've tried ever so hard to be good. please don't send me coal since it's of no use to me. Los Angeles is very warm! Please also, do not send me any Violette Liqueur. If I were so inlined, I have plenty of stinky perfume to drink.

I hope you are well Santa. Please tease me a little. it's so much more fun that way.

Dear SS, I am grinning like the "Cheshire" cat, having received my bee-you-tee-full card from you. Clever, not using a postage stamp with any of the royal family on it, and the postmark was faint, but we kats have keen vision, as well as smell and whiskers...so Chesire it is! Unless of course, you have friends in Chesire places who help out in fooling!

Anyway, you have made me very *Happy*!!! I think you may be, too!

OK - MY special l'ul Santee lives in The UK. Last year I spent a fortune on shipping charges only to have the pressies get stuck in customs. What's a US Santa to do? All you UK santas help us US Santa's out with some links to good Online stores in The UK that ship to the UK. I checked out Amazon UK and wasn't all that impressed although I did find a couple of nice pressies.

Tell me o ye UK Santas, where dost thou find totally sinful chocolates online in The UK?

Where dost thou also-eth find good prices on spirits, wine etc.?

How about seasonal plants/flowers/wreaths?

where elseth dost thou find other yummies such as maybe:
Gourmet goodies
Cookies/baked goods
Cheese
maybe some steaks or something
(here in the USA, that would be Omaha steaks -yum)

while you UK Santas are at it, link me up with anything else ya think I need to look at.

Thank you in advance

American Santa

Now, just you make sure that there's no peeking into that parcel before Christmas Day otherwise the other goodies planned for you will turn into oofle dust.

Hmmm, you want a hint. Just let me think about that! Ho ho ho perhaps one of my reindeer could be of assistance.

But not Australia this time, Dear
We're off to where the llamas wander
And, in the sky, the mighty condor
Above the Titicaca's shores
His wings unfolds and proudly soars
While down below zampoñas call
Charangos out to have a ball
Now, let us see if you believe
That this is where I really live ;-)
