Subject: RE: BS: Merry Christmas!! From: Zany Mouse Date: 21 Dec 05 - 01:16 PM Hey - back off you guys. It was meant purely as a light hearted comment. I didn't intend it to relate to Christianity or indeed ANY religion. Sorry if I offended you - perhaps my sense of humour is a tad off-beat for you. Rhiannon |

Subject: RE: BS: Merry Christmas!! From: KT Date: 22 Dec 05 - 03:30 AM Merry Christmas, everyone. For those who do not celebrate Christmas, receive the good wishes that come with those words, but don't interpret them as anything but good wishes for you, for that is indeed what they are. And for those of you who celebrate other holidays/holy days, I hope on those days you will extend good wishes/blessings to me in the same spirit. Even if I do not happen to celebrate your holy days, I know that for you they represent something deeply meaningful, and I honor and respect that. If I choose to educate myself about your holy days, I know that I will be richer for it. If we can be happy for others in their time of rejoicing, think of how many more opportunities we will have for happiness. The sooner we can begin to accept diversity, and honor it, the better off we'll all be. Warmest wishes for all that is good in this season, KT |

Subject: RE: BS: Merry Christmas!! From: Helen Date: 24 Dec 05 - 04:38 PM Merry Christmas, where it is 8.30 am Christmas morning here in east coast Oz. I wish you all peace and love, light and laughter, music and celebrations, because that is what you have all given me, here at Mudcat over the last 9 years, each in your own way. Helen P.S. It is hot & sunny today, but not sweltering like yesterday, so weather-wise, all bodes well for Christmas Day. |
Subject: RE: BS: Merry Christmas!! From: Joybell Date: 24 Dec 05 - 05:02 PM It's cool down here in the South-East too Helen. The bushfire North of us looks like it might be under control and the wind's swung around to the West. Still no rain and the whole area is tinder dry. BUT - our baby Magpie is busy stuffing everything she can find into my shoes. Shiny tinsel, little flowers, a small Teddy bear, a ring off a cd spindle. It's Christmas morning here too. Merry Christmas! Cheers, Joy |
