You guys are starting to get the idea how to handle Marty Cauda Mudcat. Keep up the good work, I'm taking a holiday for my birthday.

Not rattled at all, Guest. Just calling you out as you suggested.

I tell you fuck off with the biggest smile on my face.

And yes, I know you just want to punch me out. Awwww, too bad. You can't. so sit there and analyze it and justify to yourself why I think you are an idiot.

amos, Guests can get it both barrels as far as I am concerned. Especially the ones who are obviously your pals.

"
"Martin"--not your real name, of course--a handy index on your courage----

You were "physically threatened with harm"?--wonderfully classic writing style--ever hear of anybody physically threatened, but not "with harm"? A bit redundant--which certainly is something you would identify with. I suspect you've experienced it more than once. Aside from that, your credibility--on anything--is, as I mentioned earlier, not the best. Sorry Martin (oops, there's that unwanted pun creeping in)--you have a problem there.

Why don't you lie down until your persecution delusions go away? Perhaps flashbacks from your 60's experiences? Your obsessions are particularly revealing--bathrooms, underwear, cross-dressing, drugs. A bit of projection, I'll warrant, and definitely arrested development--about age 4--possibly caused by the drugs. You are indeed a fascinating case.

But I assure you, as I've said before, that we're not in every shadow, planning to make you "physically threatened with harm". We're actually here to help you-since you obviously need a lot of help.

Dehumanized "every day"? Poor boy. Sounds like a serious problem. I'm afraid you'll need more help than we can give--better see a professional-----soon.

But the real problem is all your complaints sound suspiciously like whining. So---the person who most complains about others whining is himself the #1 whiner.

That's quite interesting, to say the least.

But, congratulations, "Martin", you're #1 in something-----finally.

And, as I've said before, please continue your defense of Mr. Bush. You wouldn't believe how helpful your contributions are. I'm sure he agrees fully with your brilliant observation that anybody who disagrees with him is a traitor.

But next time you may possibly want to actually read a reputable newspaper before putting your mouth in gear. Based on your command of English, I'm sure you can slog through one in 3 or 4 hours.

However long it took, it would be a refreshing change if you would do so.

At any rate, keep up the good work.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Looks like I rattled his cage a bit. But that's pretty easy to do. And it's easy to tell when you've gotten to him. He develops a toilet mouth and threatens violence that he knows he'll never be able to carry out--or get punched out for. While he's sitting there waiting for someone to talk into the clown's mouth, he fantasizes a lot. All of his performances are in the Carnegie Hall of his imagination.

To "call someone out" means to challenge them to physical combat. A duel of some kind. In times past this meant an encounter with swords or dueling pistols. More recently, it meant a fast-draw shoot-out in the middle of the street.

You're "calling people out" Martin Gibson? Sounds real big as you hide there anonymously at your computer.

But you don't have the guts to "call" anybody out for real.

All mouth. No backbone.

Martin, you are a wonder; not only are you fighting delusory battles, but now you are running around patting yourself on the head for delusory victories in them.

In order to win a game, you have to have some agreement, see? If no-one cares whether you play or not, and no-one notices how clever you are, and your best efforts don't change anything, it is kind of ... deluded to go around telling yourself what a winner you are.

You are one confused poopoohead, dude.

I'm not defensive. I just think your politics and values leave a lot to be desired, Ron Davies. I think very little of you as a person, that's all. So you can deal with that or not.

The angry ones are the Arne's and the Amos types, along with you Ron. angry at America, angry at Bush, angry at all Republicans, angry at people whosee right through you for the losers that you are.

I am far from angry. I am disgusted. disgusted with what passes for liberal thought process like yours.

I am disgusted that some people in the folk music world are some of the biggest losers in society, like yourself and your silly little band of ranting, lunitic hand wringers, who like I say, have accomplished very little, and will continue to accomplish very little.

Take a look in the mirror. Just an old, foolish doper who is still living in the past.

It's not at all boring to call you schmucks out. I've told you before, it's somewhat entertaining. The success is all mine, because your usual diatribes are broken up every time by me and all you do then is hate me for that and end up ranting about that. You don't get it. The reaction I get from disagreeing with you is the payoff because it makes you look like the idiots and complete hypocrites that you really are.

Sorry "Martin" ( no pun intended--perish the thought)--your claim that you left Mudcat because you were "phsically threatened with harm" is dubious. More likely, you were, so to speak, physically threatened with help (LOL).

And I can't understand why you're so mad at me, calling me a moron--perhaps you're looking in the mirror too much--and talking about my "rants" Gee, I'm not ranting in the least ,just trying to find out why you're so defensive and angry all the time,--so we can help you.

After all, I did tell you our only reason for existence is to make you happy-- and I wished you continued happiness. Don't you remember? I'm crushed. Don't you want to be happy? Better tell your shrink. And ask him if he can do anything about your terrible problem of being dehumanized "every day".   Sure sounds serious. Your existence must be a terrible burden. Just remember we're always here for you.

And please continue to defend Mr. Bush. You help him so much.

"Cauda: tail: the posterior and terminal part of the abdomen; an appendage of any kind terminating the abdomen is usually called by this name."

"not the meaning of cauda mundi. More like the asshole end of the world."

My source said it meant "biggest prick in the world"

so I suppose that Marty really is only 'Cauda Mudcat'...

"Acne/Arne your posts are as boring as Anus/Amos."

And Marty is so obsessive about being the Cauda Mudcat that even when he gets bored (and he is always telling us that happens frequently!), he can't leave.

Now THAT's obsessive!

"Cauda mundi": "The end of the world".

A number of years ago, our administrative assistant, Gloria, was out sick one Monday. A friend of mine looked up at the whiteboard with the weekly schedule for the folks in the office, noted the "out sick" to the right of her name, held up his hands, and proclaimed "Sic transit gloria mundi".... *BA-DA-BOOM*

I don't see him [Dubya] wasting his time defending himself.

Then you don't bother reading the papers or watching TV (which might explain your colossal scotoma). Care to explain why he's on the 'campaign trail' to sell his warrantless spying (despite the fact that he's not running for re-election)? Don't you think he'd be better served actually doing some preznit type work? You know, I think I'd rather have seen him on the job on Aug. 6th, 2001....

It's definately more fun to make comments on the hand-wringers themselves. You have to admit. It gets much more of a reaction from them then their posts get about their daily disatisfied rant does everyday about the President.

Curious that you think that criticising us is a more productive use of time than actually discussing the actions of our president and his policies. Particularly when you seme to admit that Dubya's not quite up to snuff in some areas.

Far more than I do. And I admit to mine. Not to mention, my mistakes haven't cost 2200+ (and counting) young Americans their lives and a trillion plus dollars that our children are being saddled with.

Like you, everything he does or says is not stupid or foolish.

Oh, really? Name one thing. I'm partial to "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job" myself.

Oh, and a note the grammar (I'll not bother with your spelling in other posts): I suspect you meant: "not everything he does is stupid or foolish". If you really meant what you said, that's patently false (as is evidenced by my quote proffered above).

Because the direct quote means very little, Dickie boy.

People make slips of the tonque, are misinterpreted, and rant everyday.

The President is only human. Like you, he makes mistakes. Like you, everything he does or says is not stupid or foolish. What's stupid or foolish is making the assumption like many do here everyday is that everything he does is.

And you are just a whiner with an anti-Bush agenda, that's all. It's not even a question of supporting everything the President does. I certainly don't. But I just don't get my rocks off everyday whining about it here. It's definately more fun to make comments on the hand-wringers themselves. You have to admit. Now here is some serious shit:

Scales of identity, like Japanese nesting dolls, are the key to adhesion of Consciousness to an "I:" structure.
All anti-social acts are rooted in a desire to free the victim from an identity he is perceived as "capable of being more than". It is like the desperate effort to shake some sense into a child, insane though it seems.
This explains the miracle of personal growth, which is, at one level, a contradiction. It is personal cleansing or releasing from identity that frees one to become, newly, the next identity outward. And
then begin again the relearning of the lessons that identity may have had to learn, which it did not, which resulted in its abandonment behind a screen of unknowing.
There are lessons only in the presence of identities.

I'm sure some one else will eventually oblige you if you keep on the way you do.

This statement confirms that you do not have the intelligence to understand the concepts that upset you, so, like all stupid bullying thuggish Fascists, you are compelled to dismiss that which you cannot understand, in order to justify to yourself you own self importance and self confidence in your own widespread ignorance.

You want me to write another song about you again Marty?

I have always stood up to bullies, meet you anywhere for a physical - but I don't have the cash anymore to track you down pal.

I learnt to stand up to gutless wonders like you when I was a kid. The time the local gang was led by a certain thug who bothered me to the point where I told him to put up his fists in a ring where he couldn't run away from me; he eventually chickened out, as he realised that if he beat me to a pulp, he would be in serious trouble as he was the local Golden Gloves boxing champ. I didn't care, I'd take Mr Ali on if he insisted in abusing me like you do. You live then you die - I prefer to live with my head held high - watch 'Cool Hand Luke', mate.
