Do you ever have a half remembered song going round your head?
My late father used to sing "ce sont les loups". It is from England and must be Norman French.

Can anyone put me out of my agony and provide the whole song.

If you half remember it, would you quote that much? Otherwise (since there seem to be a number of possibilities) you'll probably just get random guesses.

Cracked it. There is apparently a version in French-Canadian and Cajun. It is a variation on « J'ai Vu le Loup, J'ai vu le loup, le renard et le lièvre »
