My favorite holiday! I knew that jack-o-lanterns' were originally made from turnips, does that count as knowing how to prepare a turnip-head?
Thread creep: What are you going as? I don't really dress up anymore, my best costume was Pippi Longstocking (braided my hair out onto a straightened hanger) but now I just wear my red flowing shiny seethrough cape over whatever I can find that is black.
