Subject: BS: I was a witness in D.C. ...were you?
From: GUEST,Peter Woodruff (wdyat12)
Date: 23 Jan 05 - 05:07 PM

I was a witness in D.C. during the second Coronation of the Furer, King George the second. I stood on the corner of 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue with many friends from Maine and elsewhere. We all turned our backs on the "Fasciest Dick...tater." I saw many Republicans dressed in their uniform, full length black wool coats, red scarfs or ties, Presidential Seal pins, and black stetson hats. The Republican women wore full length Black real fur coats. Union Station was so surreal with this clash of republican dress and eclectic protester dress that it was plain to any journalist with eyes that this country is so divided. Did anyone else here at Mudcat feel the same? I saw police brutality, I saw police from California illdressed for the cold who were glad to talk with us.

Peter wdyat12

P.S. I know I said in a previous thread that I would be at 4th Street and Pensylvania Avenue with the "A.N.S.W.E.R." croud, but plans were changed on the 12 hour bus trip down from Maine. I ended up with the "Turn Your Back On Bush" croud. Oh well, Glad I did.

I was not there, but I saw the groups with their backs turned..(several holding up signs that said "liar")...perhaps I did see you...Bush could have seen you, though I doubt he looked. Others did though.

Counter-Inaugural's website

Also, DC IndyMedia usually has good "on the ground" reporting and photos on DC demos.

Bobert, I'm sorry you couldn't go. I was a witness, but at a distance, watching on C-SPAN and Democracy Now and stuff. But I didn't spend any money! But I did go to bed early. Just too depressing to watch it all, even from a distance. Like I said elsewhere, it looked like the coronation of a Latin American dictator.

But good on all of the folks who managed to make it to DC to protest. I know I'd have felt much more cheerful if I had been there too. Being there in spirit wasn't quite good enough for me this time around.

Mandated Morality

Check your watches, mark the date;
Watch the venom, watch the hate;
Mark the death of smart debate
The date the man proclaimed mandate,
Who smeared the other candidate
God, Oil and Death, our sovereign State
The damage done, it's now too late
To back away, the cost rebate
This unabated march of fate
A dark new day to celebrate.

You gnu are one of the biggest idiots here. Perhaps you should take a reading course or realize that there are people who think very differently than you in your little narrow, easily offended world.

What part of "you are a moron" don't you understand? Rereading my comments seem to make perfect sense to me and I will tell you this also. Where I spend my money for myself and my family is none of your absolutely fucking business. If I want to spend my money at Wal-Mart to buy laundry detergent and furniture polish and save money at it, you have no fucking right to criticize it because it is not your concern. If Wal-Mart decides to contribute to the Republican National Committe, you are just going to have to deal with it.

Sorry, Peter. I don't eat pork tenderloin. It's not kosher.

I will be going to Wal-Mart soon to buy some household items. I'll save a few bucks gladly. I'll wait in line for a few minutes with many other Americans who are contento to shop there.

You, on the other hand, I could give a fuck what you do with your money. Please do not be so concerned with what I do with mine.

Like I said, it's none of your business. But I'll tell you anyway just to let you know that you have zero impact on anything concerning that topic.

You are so full of yourself and your causes that I am sure your ass is chafed.

I'm certainly not blundering my way through life. I'm having a fine old time living the great American dream. You are the one who's doing all the pissing and moaning being so upset with what's going on with America.

Gosh, Greg F. at least 4 more years of being pissed at our President and walking around with skidmarks in your shorts over it.

Can't you try to do some good in the world or in America, this great and free country and just not be so angry?

Blow me, guest. i have answers, but would rather not tell you because quite frankly I think so very, very little of you. I really don't owe you any explanation so you might as well stop asking. I can look at myself every day in the mirror and be happy in life.

You, who piss and moan your life away are a loser.

I'm here for the long haul, last Guest. Right here in the middle of the stage to tell you every day the same thing I told Greg F.

And I'm here to piss you off, which I obviously and gloriously have.

I'm not murdering any woman and children, asshole. You are an idiot that just leaves me shaking my head and laughing at you.

"Right here in the middle of the stage to tell you every day the same thing..."

ain't that the truth!!

"And I'm here to piss you off..."

yet another example of the good works that MG performs daily and exhorts other to join in and forget their "anger". another breath of hot air from Martin "mr. anger management" Gibson.

No, wait, hold it, let me guess..." hey, blow me with yer cockbreath while i laugh at you, you miserable loser!!"
oh, i'm sure MG will let loose with something even more brilliant than that, don't you think?
