"Flotsam and Jetsam" has always been one of my favorites. I would steer away from any name that includes "sheet" or "seamen," avoiding nervous giggles. Then, let's see, what other names surface or sink: The Sea Slugs (nautical punk band) The Afterguard (those who serve on the poop deck) Roll & Go (sorry, that one's taken) The Dog Watch ("This chanty group should be curtailed!") Catspaw (Spaw should like this one but it really means a breath of fresh breeze on a calm day) The Bilge Brothers (worst one yet!) Shanghaied (sorry, already taken by folks in Portland-West) Bucho Mates (another pair of bruisers to be paired with their female counterparts "Bosum Buddies") Let's not hurry this process. Beach, where they have one (or used to), behind the bar, for clubbing patrons who aren't drinking. By the way, how about "Clubbing with Seals"? (You get the Jack London/Sea Wolf thing there).
