Looking for the lyrics of this song. I think it was recorded by Jean Redpath.

Chorus contains these words

This is 'Before They Close the Minstrel Show' which is another wonderful song from Bob Coltman.
Ed Trickett also recorded it.

It's in the DT: Before They Close the Minstrel Show, by Bob Coltman. The MIDI sounds like it has some serious problems, though.

We've had several threads requesting this song, usually as "Last Minstrel Show." I'm wondering why the confusion - do people get it mixed up with The Last Picture Show?
I see Susanne(SKW) has it listed that way on her Website. Oh, now I see - Jean Redpath calls it "Last Minstrel Show" on her extraordinary Leaving the Land CD.
