At last,I've got a positive reaction from the significant other.Tig,we'll be down to see everyone on saturday afternoon for a short while. I'll try to persuade Minn to stay as long as possible but as he is the one who drives and refuses to drink at the same time(I know you tend to spill most of it!!!!!)we may not be around for long.

See you all next week.

We could just take over the pub and claim sessation from the state of Yorkshire? Call it Mudcatonia (Twinned with Black Doggerel) and request NATO protection against the invasion of PEL inspectors.

Worth a try?

You can get the bus...there is one that goes to Snaith, and one that goes to Doncaster...sorry I don't know the bus numbers but the bus station is near the train station...if you come out of the train station and turn left and follow the road round you will see it.

Muppett - the pub is about 3 or 4 miles south of Selby, on the road to Snaith. It is about the first thing you reach as you approach Camblesforth from that direction. I don't have a clue if there is any public transport going that direction, but if you are arriving at a sensible, known time, it might be possible for somebody to collect you from a railway station.
It also seems to possible to get a train to Snaith, but they are few and far between.
The address and phone number for the pub is as follows. If in difficulty you will be able to get in touch with someone during the gathering.

Black Dog Inn
Selby Rd Camblesforth
Selby
North Yorkshire
YO8 8HX
Tel: 01757 618247
BLICKY to a map

Quack!

Hi Mrs D,

No Stepper is rehearsing again - Were at Chippenham the week after and although we have no programme the girls are still getting things polished A1 is two weeks later too!

BTW - Girls = Sister Act - No marketing but stunning - then I am biased.

The situation is that if insufficient people require breakfasts they won't happen but I think numbers are looking good. The jury is still out on the barbeque but should go ahead. As said before it will be the pubs burgers sausages chicken etc that go on and we buy them rather than doing it ourselves. Fiddler - obviously not sausage and bacon for breakfast but do you still like a cooked one if veggie sausages are available? Is Stepper coming or is she staying with Lilwobble?

This is all new to me - breakfast sounds a brilliant idea - veggie with nut allergy - Yup fiddler with no nuts - B4 the comics get to it.
Sunday lunch I am considering.

Lilwobble won't be coming as she is in the middle of GCSE things (exams) at that time.

Count Limpit and Manitas and myself in for the breakfasts and lunch please.

The Other Quiz - working title of 'Never mind the clues, it's all bollocks' will indeed be sometime on Saturday afternoon/evening if enough people show interest.

I will need a plug for the computer and two teams of however many are daft enough to join in. And a buzzer and a bell.

And a kazoo, but they're standard operating equipment aren't they?

Who's organising the raffle this year?

Gazebo installation workshops will take place at a time to be arranged. Offers from those interested in taking part?

WILL BE SORTING OUT FINAL DETAILS WITH TRACY AND gARY TONIGHT. I CERTAINLY HOPE THERE WILL BE THE WONDERFUL BREAKFASTS AS LAST YEAR. Sorry didn't mean to shout. I will confirm about the barby but even if we decide against it there is plenty of great food available both healthy and otherwise :0) There are in fact two quizes planned one being an unknown quantity from Liz which I expect will take place early Saturday evening and the other a pen and paper one about the pub which will be on all weekend and winners announced on Sunday. As last year we would request that anyone wanting Sunday lunch has it after the main crowds at around 2.30. A quick show of hands might be useful at this point from folk who would be interested in breakfast or Sunday lunch.
Don't forget to look out that interesting little item for the raffle (all proceeds to Mudcat)
We aim to fit as much fun as possible into the weekend so look forward to seeing you all VERY soon.

will be later than expected due to large amount of gear to carry. still be there around lunch time.
is a barby sorted?
is there going to be a daft quiz?
does the pub do fried breakfasts for those of us who aren't into healthy eating?
if not, is there a decent cafe open on sun morning?
no comments about use of english! there is only one sunday in question!!!

All excited.... hopefully the large box of choccies I gave to our cat sitter for last weekend will mean she's happy to do the next weekend too!

Always presuming that one cat doesn't decide to keel over on us... she's been sulking since the weekend and not looking too good....

Counting the days and picking up the tent on Sat..... I hope!
