Three weeks later developed an allergy to cashew nuts of all things and looked like I had a nasty case of sunburn for a while. Then got a cold whichwent to the throat and stopped me talking and singing (some would say that's a mercy!) and on February 24 I go in for a bunionectomy - if they've got a bed for me! Does this qualify me for the recovery ward? I'd rather have white wine than gin and one of those lovely male nurses to tuck me in at night. |
