Being of the Eastern European persuasion myself I thought it would be a challenge to find some Polish mp3 files to download. Imagine my surprise and delight to find a site that not only has plenty of downloads (all free and totally legal) but also has a folk section which is easy to access containing some 70+ tracks (other genres well catered for also). Some of these are not exactly top notch but amongst them are some real gems. I'm not going to sway or try to influence people by my choices but I have been in touch with some of the groups on the site who would love to get feedback fom any visitors. I would be more than happy to pass on any comments. The site is www.mp3.wp.pl give it a go and let me know what you think.

My apologies for messing up the link. Very typical for an oldie like me. My thanks to Murray McLeod for sorting it out for me. As for the language barrier theres no problem just click on folk once you get in. The site is set up to listen to the tracks or download. Take your pick but remember that it is all free.

might be much interesting music there, but just so you know...

my firewall said: "the server tried to use cookies for exploitive purposes. The server name did not match the domain name, and the cookie has been rejected."

It's hard to tell what some sites are doing, but I don't get that warning often...
