Musically... Natalie McMaster could fiddle with me, I suppose.

Sarah Silverman.
Juliette Binoche.
Emmylou Harris.
Uma Thurman.

If they all worked together, they might just bring me around.

Rita Coolidge to stroke my hand and gently coo me back to consciousness, Connie Dover to revive me with a beautiful gaelic ballad, my own dear one belting out Darling Corey (just in case she's reading this)...how many comas do I get?

Hey, Greg. I would recognize Cidy the Weatherbabe's voice with my ears plugged.

It's amazing how quickly the responses moved from the (perhaps
intended) auditory serenade and went and remained below the
waist.

If I couldn't nominate my lovely husband Sam Elliot would be good. For the voice - James Earl Jones, described by LTS as 'dark chocolate on dark chocolate'.

I'll second Bee's thought on Sam Elliot. Or either Hugh Grant and/or Hugh Laurie.

I dunno, I've just always found him... er... arousing.

I've a bit of a thing for Lou Gossett Jr. as well.

I'll make it "easier" for whoever is arranging my revivification:

Either Pete Seeger or Utah Phillips would do.

I guess it would all depend on how long I'd been comatose...

Two weeks: Yeah, okay... Like Amos, Dennis Kucinich's wife would be just fine 'cause I'd still look sexy and handsome like I look now... Okay, maybe not Dennis's wife... Is Morgan Fairchild available???

But like if it's 20 years from now and I'm all old and worn out lookin', you know, ahhhhh, I don't want to wake up and there's Dennis's wife or Morgan Fairchild... I want to wake up and see someone who will still think I look okay, like, ahhhhhh, Mother Terresa...

(Bobert, Mother Terresa died...)

Okay, Lureen McCall... No, make it Racheal Welsh... No, Jane Fonda... No, Joe Namouth... No, not Joe... Jimmy Carter... Yeah, Jimmy Carter...

Okay, I'm ready to play now...

Two weeks: Morgan Fairchild, or Dennie's wife

20 years: Jimmy Carter

Anything beyond 20 years, just pull the plug, thankee...

B;(

Nigella Lawson probably knows how to feed both body and soul, but Joanna Lumley's sharp wit would probably be a more effective and satisfying "cattle prod."

Cheers, Rowan

Don't ask where these ideas come from, they just appear, OK?

So... if you were comatose and a visit from a famous singer/band/sportsperson/politician/whatever could bring you round, who would you like it to be?

Ideally mine would be Sean Connery or Hugh Jackman, but if they're not available, I think after a total glutfest of them today, Coope, Boyes and Simpson could manage quite nicely... especially Barry....

Over to you...
